Beautiful authentic Greek food. Our waiter was funny and good humoured and made us laugh a lot with his joking around. It was busy so service was a tad slow, but I would happily return here any time.

Consistent is how I would describe this business, their quality has not changed in the 15 odd years I've been going here and they cater for groups really well too. Service can be slower on busy nights, yet once the food gets rolling you don't even notice! Desserts are amazing. My very first experience I didn't order anything and food started to come out, it made me laugh, but in the end I loved the experience and today still go back for more. Very friendly atmosphere

This is a great restaurant to visit with someone who has already been there before. I went with my partner who had been there a couple of times already and knew what he liked and what I would like. All of the food was delicious and we had a huge amount of different items for about $40 each (person). You need to be prepared to put your trust in the wait staff - let them know what you like (fish, calamari, lamb etc) and they won't let you down. A must try is the delicious but messy saganyaki. I agree with some other reviews that the wait staff can seem a bit abrupt but I think it is just their culture and how busy they are.

This is the best Greek experience that I have had! I went here with a large group of people and it worked out to be quite good value. Fantastic food, good service however the BYO only option for alcohol was a little annoying. The airconditioning could also be improved.

Probably the best flame-grilled prawns I've ever had in my life. Although, I didn't really have a choice as the waiter looked very narky and gave me about 3 seconds to order. I've been there twice - the first time with my Greek boss to whom the waiter was charming and the second time with a friend (the same waiter looked like he wouldn't spit on us). I know it's an institution but I found the whole thing stressful. Yes the food is good but probably not good enough to ruin your night out by dealing with the rude staff for.

This place is the real thing. Great authentic Greek food in a very popular restaurant. At first I was a little worried about not having a menu - can be a bit daunting if you've never eaten Greek food - however the waiters pride themselves on helping customers to find the best choice. Tell them what you feel like and they'll match a dish to suit your tastes. A great place to go with a group of people and share a variety of dishes to get the most out the experience. So much food to eat just make sure to leave room for dessert. The baklava is devine. Oh, and don't forget to take your own drinks - they don't sell alcohol!

Don't expect a menu. Don't expect conversation from the staff... do expect fantastic, simple greek food. You will get dips, saganaki, grilled octopus and a meat platter for around $30 per head.

My Favourite Greek Restaurant. I have been going to Jim's for almost 20 years, the food is always fresh and fantastic. Jim's has a great atmosphere and is definitely a place to visit, whether you want a fun night out with a group of friends or just a table for two.

An awesome experience. The waiters give the place a great atmosphere and the food just keeps coming and is so delicious. The byo policy makes it easy to keep costs down when with a lot of friends and that meat.. WOW!!!
