It may not look like the most fancy place but i suggest you try it out. They have one of the best pizzas in the west. I suggest getting the pizza meal with the garlic bread the garlic bread is so soft and a little chewy and never burnt the pizza always comes out non greasy and theres always heaps of toppings

Jackie's Pizza is a handy little shop. Easy to find since they're across the road from St Stephen's Church and you can usually get parking right outside.

They have a special on right now for 2 large pizzas and a 1.25ltr drink for $22.50 (pick up) and 2 large pizzas, large drink and garlic bread for $30 delivered. That's a great deal when you think their normal large price is $14.

There's a large choice of traditional menu - Hawaiian, Meat Lovers, Garlic and Cheese, Napolitana etc. Then there's Gourmet range - Tandoori, Chicken Feta, Mediterranean. Also the pasta - spaghetti or penne with your choice of sauces, a Falafel roll or a hamburger all add to the versatility of this shop.

Open Sunday - Thursday 5 p.m. to 10.00 and on Friday and Saturday it's 10.30 finish.

A handy on the way to anywhere (home included) shop. We always take away but there are a couple of tables where you can read the newspaper to while away the time. There's a Milk Bar right next door if you need anything else as well.

Approximate cost: $Large Pizza $14, Pastas $10, Falafel $6.50, Burgers $4 +

Don't let the exterior (garish yellow) fool you - the pizza from Jackie's is very nice indeed. Crispy thin bases and generous toppings made from fresh ingredients means that I've yet to be disappointed from a trip to Jackie's. The store itself offers some limited dine-in potential, but I've always ever gotten take away. They offer the full gamete of pizza options that you can pretty much get anywhere else, but along with the competition down the road in Newport, its fresh and tasty and local so you cant beat it.
Jackie's is a bit of a Williamstown tradition that I hope never goes away.
