Amazing shopping for homewares, decor and furniture. The quality is great and while you're shopping, they provide everything from the paper to the measuring tape. You can also let the kids run wild at the free kids centre!

I love Ikea - and am lucky to live nearby, plus they have extended trading hours making it easy to shop in the afternoon after work. Great range and value. Always a line at the check out though.

Agree, love the extended trading hours. I'm able to pop by after work for a cheap meal!

This is one of the best furniture and home wares brand in Australia. You may see some other furniture stores are very quiet. But they are very popular and busy especially at weekend. They are good value for money.

Not one of the best ikeas in the world, this Sydney branch is a bit out of the way, and even harder to navigate than most. Goods are not always restocked fast enough, so for us Canberrans drive 300kms just to look for a few specific items, this can be quite disappointing (and a lesson well-learnt, to check stocks online next time). They also do not deliver anywhere outside Sydney, another disappointment.

Great place to rest and recharge after too much furniture shopping. Free beverages for all members is an extra boost (it doesn't cost anything to apply). I like the meatballs and potatoes, but stay away from the $3 barramundi deal

Approximate cost: $8

the food here is better than the ones in Malaysia, Singapore or the States -- although coffee still sucks! :) if you become a member of Ikea, you'd have your drinks foc.

Great range and products are regularly updated. Low prices mean I can change my home decor regularly without breaking the bank.

Approximate cost: $45
