Always happy with my meals here, service i good too

Whenever I am up in Surfers Paradise I always have to have a meal at Hogs Breath! My few experiences here have been quite good as I mainly go there for lunch. I don't know what the regulars would say about it but as a New South Welshman, I enjoy going there. Service & food is always good.

We have eaten at Hogs Breath a couple of times before and it has never been AMAZING but has always been fairly good and satisfying.
We had made a booking, but we arrived mayb 5-10 minutes early and when we got there we were told that our table was currently being used. However, there was at least 5+ tables with nobody at them, We asked them to put us at a different table but it still took them 10 minutes to decide to do it.
We ordered the special which was on at the time which included a main and then either an entree or dessert along with the drinks. Our food came out really quickly but we had to remind them about our drinks. we ordered a second round of drinks after the entrée, however we had almost finished our meals and they still had not come out. The steak was very watery and gross. We will not be back.

Recently ate here with some friends, we shared a finger food combo as a starter. I then ordered one of there 18 hour slow cooked Garlic Prawn Prime Rib Steaks. The steak was cooked perfectly and just melted in my mouth, the vegetable and mash very also amazing with the tasty cheese sauce. Some amazing cocktails as well all reasonably priced at $13 each. The staff were all very friendly.

great location in central surfers paradise. good food and sevice. the steaks are very good but a little expensive. good selection of drinks, the service is friendly.

my son and i love hogs cafe we go to also the coolangatta one if u havent booked u usually wait for 35minutes to get a table so its an idae to book my son always order the burger and chips he loves the curly chips i had the steak and potato it was tasty,steaks are great here with different sauces

When in Surfers I will always eat at both or either Southport/Main Beach Marina site which I think is the better. We've established if your a fan of reading my reviews that I don't have kids so avoid all Hogs Breath cafes on Monday and Tuesday nights as kids eat free. The Mall site is downstairs and it's good and efficient, if you like the Hogs brand and their slow cooked Steaks you'll like this restaurant, if you have never, had a Hogs Breath slow cooked steak your in for a treat, my two favourites are with prawns on top, or Avocado with Bernaise sauce. If you want it a bit simpler then the blackened steak is nice. The other site is at Southport the Main Beach Marina a quick taxi or drive and on a wharf around the marina and boats This is my Favourite. Food is great, the staff are great, probably a reflection of the franchise owner, everything came out fast and hot, good sized steaks and excellent quality. I always enjoy a visit here and if I only have time for one restaurant whilst in Surfers then this is the first option.

Same as any hogs breath, fast and friendly. I think
the steaks are overated though and pricey.Still an ok place to grab a decent meal though

Friendly service, and great food. Had a really good dinner for 2, 3-tier platter with the works. Was beautiful and good value. Service was quick and really friendly.
