I would not recommend Broadmeadows Harvey Norman and I am an idiot for trying to not hold a grudge and going back. Went yesterday to Broadmeadow to return an unopened item purchase at the Maribynong Store with receipt of purchase, only to be told that they will not give me a store purchase or refund due to not buying the item from them (Broadmeadow store) and that I needed to go back to Maribynong.. The young store girls justification around this was that the stores are all franchised and they don’t have the purchase money due to me not buying it there.. Today I went to Thomostown Store and was happy to except it and provide us with a store credit or refund.. What is going on this world and is the Broadmeadow store focused on only making money and not customer service.. will never go back to Broadmeadows store ever again or recommend friends and family to stay clear of this store.
They have an older women at the register who really loves her job, all day she is barking orders at the workers like they are worthless.. Mr Harvey Norman needs to reassess who he hands out franchises too..

I really had very bad experience with Harvey norman broadmedows.I bought a core I3 laptop then requested them to return because I wanted to buy I5.But they rejected.They had very bad behaviour including manager and customer service.

Best costumer service and sale from Prakarsh I've ever had! Gave me an excellent deal. Going to be coming to Harvey Norman in Broadmeadows from now on!

I purchased my ipod touch from there but when the screen stopped working they wouldent return anything they just said take it to the apple store.I suggest if you want to be able to return somthing buy from somewhere else.

I feel bad for the sales staff but not for their executive structure - the franchisees are doing it tough and prices are good if you bargain.

I find harvey norman to be a bit pricey and that you really need to haggle to get a decent deal. However the sales people there are really helpful. i went in to get a microwave and they explained to me about the range they had. Great people and good service!

I don't like shopping at Harvey Norman. The prices are too high.The funny thing that happened to me the other day was that I reali'zed the prices go up rather than down when they advertise they are in sale!!!!!

These guys have a great range of furniture, and they have the cheapest photo's around. However with most Harvey Norman's they are very expensive and the guys at Broadmeadows are also quite slow in doing you photos.

I went in to buy a certain digital SLR camera, and after talking wi me, the salesman recommended a different, cheaper camera that was much more suitable for what I needed it for. Will definitely be going back!
