Bought the hoover stick vac from the frankston store in september. Have had nothing but problems with it from the second we used it. Have had it back to the store 4 times before deciding to go through head office due to the extreme rudeness of [redacted due to personal identifier] We have asked for a full refund of the money spent on the machine as we have had to go elsewhere to buy a $800 vac. Head office even said we were well within our rights to get a refund but because the frankston store is privatly owned the final decission would be up to the owner the manager. I have just gotten of the phone to him and after a very frustrating convo of him talking over me and being extremely rude and disrespectful and point blank regusing to give me a refund of my money (because he wants to keep the money withing his pockets) i am now having to take it further. Bought a carpet cleaner to use for a rental inspection, from the Frankston store, it cleaned one room before it stopped working and started just leaking water. Returned it to the store, they wouldn't refund they just sent it away to be fixed - I had planned to get a refund and purchase a better model (since the sales person said they were surprised no others had been returned they were such poor quality machines), but no refund, so I didn't get to clean my carpets for the rental inspection and now I'm stuck with this machine that I have no use for and if I did ever use it again it would no doubt break again.

I contacted the general customer service about it, they wanted me to email and then get the area manager to call me etc but it sounded like too much mucking around when I wasn't guaranteed to get my money back for the machine.

We had bought a vacuum from a Godfreys store before, which is still going but I wouldn't buy anything from them again.
