Great little Indian Buffet style Cafe. Really nice and plump curry puffs and delicious butter chicken. We had a quick eat in and then a take away. Medium pricing. Right near Flinders Station. :-)

We stopped here for a quick lunch before heading off to the Gallery. Their menu isn't huge but certainly sufficient. We all ordered a combination meal which basically came with the lot, loved the rotis and curries were nice, great value at $12.50.

I've been here many times with my kids. We love it.

It's a bare bones, hard surfaces, cheap as chips kind of place. Yet somehow I find it sort of warm and comforting. Busy and a bit noisy. Packed with people from Indian background. It's clean (given that they have a lot of tables to clear up), and the staff are polite. You order and pay at the register, and pick up the food at the counter when your red number comes up on the display.

Some dishes are cooked to order; many of the dishes are in bain maries. But they are just pumping the food out so it's freshly cooked.

I've travelled in India and obviously can't give the same perspective as someone with an Indian background. But as a lover of Indian food I think this is very good. The kids declare the butter chicken to be the best they've ever had, and I've taken friends here who agree. It's very very good. The dahls are a bit watery for my liking, but this is personal preference as I know authentic Indian dahls are often quite thin. The dosa are good. Vege curries are always tasty. Naan is awesome.

Overall, the quality varies a bit depending on the dish, but I have never had a bad dish here. What I love the best is the reason why I guess so many Indian people eat here - it tastes authentic. It tastes like India. Down to the little dish of crunchy fennel breath freshener at the counter. Help yourself to a spoonful. It will rock your world.

saw an ad in indian magazine and thought it must be a great restaurant but NO.the food was worst.although the price was less but you need quality which was not there.will not recommend anyone about this.wastage of the money

Very good value, delicious food and friendly staff. gorgeous fish tank to entertain the kids while waiting for your order to be called up. The keer is a lovely end to any meal. Flora is probably one of the cheapest restaurants I have ever gone to, but you would never know just by tasting the food, it tastes expensive!

I have lunch with work colleagues here all the time because it's close to work and doesn't take long to get what you order. I usually get the Chicken Tikka which comes with a nice fresh salad and rice and I recommend getting it with Riata.

This place is always super busy, but the service is fast and the staff are lovely and tentative. Highly recommend!

Overall The combination of Value for Money and Fast, Consistency with none to shabby service at all we see me back here whenever I get the chance. I first visited there last year with my cousin whilst visiting the country and we ended up back there again this year when she was back again. The Roti are huge and portions good. Nothing bad to look forward to the next day either if you get my meaning! Overall perfect spot, great price, clean and friendly place to eat!
