Never used such an unprofessional company for anything in my life as Motorcycle Express or Fergusson Motorcycles Express. Promise the world but never deliver! Stay well away from these cowboys, they claim to have been moving motorcycles for 30 years, yet showed they no idea of customer service or "how to move motorcycles". They have learnt nothing in 30 years. How hard can it be to pick up a bike in SA and deliver to NSW, well i used Motorcycle Express it's nearly impossible, they did pick up my bike quick enough, they did call me right up until I payed their invoice invoice, which they also sent pretty quick. After that good luck trying to contact them. Forget about emails or phone calls they didn't answer and didn't call me back when I did get through. My bike was in Limbo with no means to track it or get update from them on its location. I could have walked from SA to NSW quicker absolutely shocking service. Any other company would be better. Missed several good rides waiting for bike to arrive! Half their phone numbers either don't work or go to voicemail, not normally an issue with any other company but they either don't, or can't use voicemail or just plain ignore it.

Heard too many rumors about them running sham companies, not having proper, or no I nsurance, not paying bills, shutting up shop and starting again, also must be several from ex employees on bike forum who got screwed out of Supa. A definite pattern. Sadly only found out after I used them. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN

I got my bike all booked in no problem and they took my money very quick. However bike did not leave their depot for almost three weeks. They are impossible to contact and they never called me back with an update. Very frustrating. Bikes take longer to ship with them, they are rude, not that cheap either, they head office never return calls or give you an update.

Not Happy. Quick to demand your money but nothing heard for weeks after.

I rang Motorcycle Express on 8th December to get a quote for transporting a bike from Sunshine coast to Perth. The quote was competitive, they promised door-to-door delivery in 10-14 days, crating, insurance, GST all included. I accepted the quote, an invoice appeared in my email inbox almost immediately, I paid it immediately.

It is now 23rd Dec, 15 days later. I've heard absolutely nothing from Motorcycle Express since paying the invoice.

Yesterday I checked with a person at the pickup address, he confirmed the bike was picked up on 14th Dec. I emailed M/C Express yesterday asking for an update on delivery. No response. I emailed again today. No response.

I phoned their Melbourne number 03 9747 1666 this morning, no answer, no recorded message, just a Telstra message saying "you have reached the message bank of 0499 890 043".

I phoned the mobile number 0481 123 922 given in M/C Express invoice that was emailed to me, got Optus message "number disconnected".

Motorcycle Express Australia has my bike, and $990 of my money. I do not have the bike, I have no idea where it is, and M/C Express is un-contactable and does not reply to messages.

NEVER AGAIN!!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

Update.

Finally able to contact M/C express today. They advised that my bike is still in Brisbane - 2 weeks after pickup from Sunshine coast and 3 weeks from time of ordering and paying for transport!! No explanation provided.

They went on to say that the bike could not be released from Brisbane until 3rd January - another week! Again no explanation. And then a minimum of another week to transport Brisbane - Perth depot. At this stage it looks like I'll be lucky to see the bike before mid- January, making it 5-6 weeks in total, at best....

If you need to transport your motorcycle do not use Fergusson Motorcycle Transport, also known as Motorcycle Express Australia.

After [we] booked and paid for the transport with them , they [did] not provide any information regarding when [the] motorcycle will be picked up, where it is at any given time, or when [we could] expect delivery.

After booking a pick from Perth to Adelaide on November 1st and paying in full on November 3rd, I received the bike one month later, on December 1st.

One month to send a motorcycle from Perth to Adelaide !

I was told by the previous owner of the motorcycle that it had been picked up by Fergusson’s on November 7th, and eight days later after I managed to speak with [redacted due to personal identifier] at their Melbourne office, was told it hadn’t been picked up yet.

As the [redacted due to personal identifier], I would have expected [redacted due to personal identifier] to have his facts correct and be aware it had been picked up.

Following from my contact with [redacted due to personal identifier] it became almost impossible to speak with anyone, and all of my emails and telephone call messages were unanswered.

They simply do not care, and do not possess any customer, communication or business skills.

I was offered a $200 partial refund on November 23rd, however as at December 16th, and as expected, it has not been paid and I now do not expect it to be.

Despite numerous emails asking when the refund will be paid, none have been answered.

Find another company to transport your motorcycle.

I have no problems when transporting bikes I purchase interstate ,the problem I have is that I cancelled a job and have been waiting since november going on 3 weeks and still counting for my refund minus the $50 fee , the accounts and admin departments just keep fobbing you off week after week they do not return phone calls or e mails and no one takes responsability . will think twice before using them again

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

1.very rude.
2.bike arrived to their depot without the keys and the bike's papers.
3.i had two bikes delivered by them (once through a bike dealer) both times the bikes arrived late...once four days late and once TWO WEEKS!!! (Even that they knew that I needed the bike for an event )
4.bike arrived with damage to the muffler (a year old BMW S1000RR)...apparently they DON'T have an insurance or didn't want to use it...i had to take them to the tribunal...they lost...and still refuse to pay...even that they admitted damaging my bike.

Every company can make mistakes, how they deal with that makes the difference.
NEVER AGAIN!!!

I wouldn't recommend Fergusson. I'm still waiting for my bike to be delivered after transporting from Vic to Sydney, booked on 23 June but I'll be waiting at least two week's by time it's delivered. They provide no dates for the transport or delivery. I discovered the bike was being picked up from the dealership only because the driver rang me to ask which bike it is. Yet one week later I still don't have it. After phoning to find out when it will arrive at the depo, I'm told "Thursday and they'll phone to arrange delivery to my address". On Friday, after hearing nothing, I phone to ask when it'll be delivered to my address, so I can arrange to be home, I'm told the driver is sick today. So now it won't be until "sometime" next week, but STILL no firm date is provided.
I only used Fergusson's because they told me they could deliver "well before" today (a Friday). But now I'll be waiting until until next Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday.....who knows.
I've sent them an email expressing my dissatisfaction........ Not even a response!

Fergussons moved a motorcycle for me, from Melbourne to Fremantle, I was treated well and kept informed and the bike arrived in record time, it only took a few days, it would normally take longer but I was lucky...and very happy. I still don't know how they got it here so fast, they must have a tardis. Cost varies according to distance but quality is assured as is total insurance.
