2011, I brought a XR650R in Sydney outer eastern suburbs, and delivered to Adelaide northern suburbs.
They had the bike the next day, the driver let me know as soon as he got there that the bike was there and in good order.
Four day later it was sitting in my driveway.
The driver was polite and a good bloke as was the receptionist.

Approximate cost: $495.

I dont often leave reviews but after reading the others here I felt I had to share my good experience.
I booked in with Motorcycle Express / Fergusson as I had to find a bike mover ASAP. They told me they could pick up from Bris and deliver to Syd in 4/5 business days.
It took 6 days in total so I cannot complain too much there.
I read the reviews after booking so started to panic when there was no contact around day 4.
I lost my handle with them on the phone and they treated me courteously. They bent over backwards to deliver to my home at 9.45pm.
The only complaint I have is that there was a lack of proactive communication from them. If they had told me the bike would be with me on day 6 and not day 4 I would have been happy and given 5 stars instead of the 4.
They were $50 more expensive than all of the other quotes but I needed the bike in a hurry so was happy to pay a premium.
The bike and large box with spares arrived in excellent condition.

I cannot stress enough, do not do business with Fergusson Motorcycle Express, or Motorcycle Express. The business is dodgy, unreliable, untrustworthy. In many many years of supporting Australian businesses and services, I have never felt the need to warn people off a business so strongly before. Avoid at all costs, many reputable transporters out there for an extra few dollars would be worth every cent. In hindsight I would pay triple to not use Fergusson, AVOID AVOID AVOID

Is there a way i can do no stars? Worst service ever, never able to contact anyone or find out my own bikes location. Took over 3 weeks from Brisbane to sydney with no contact. Show bike polished at brisbane came back with more kms. Flat battery. Scratches and appallingly dirty for a 'closed in truck' they may be cheap but its for a reason. You will beleive your bike has been stolen and recovered with their service and lack of communication.
Completely unprofessional and if you call twice in one day to ask where your bike is.[redacted generalisation] Dont fall for cheap rates.

Why didn't I read reviews BEFORE using these idiots?? By far the most UNPROFFESSIONAL company I have ever used, heard about, or even read about. They are IMPOSSIBLE to contact after they pick up your bike, delivery is glacierially slow and you cannot get ANY feedback on status. You pay ALOT for BAD service. As per all the below posts STAY CLEAR, DO NOT USE. ANYONE ELSE HAS TO BE BETER THAN THEM. THERE IS NO WAY ANYONE ELSE CAN BE WORSE.

Bought a bike in North SYdney - 3 weeks later still no sign in Brisbane, Numerous emails, calls & Textx went unanswered. Finally managed to get an answer on the mobile number, he told me the bike had just been delivered to Bris, I could have pushed it quicker than rely on this mob of donkeys. Spoke to the rep in Brisbane, he wasnt keen to dleiver irt as he also hadnt been paid and wasnt going to shell out more to deliver the bike to min 40 klms north. Fearing the worst I drove to the Kingston depot and found the bike there, no papers had been deliverd with it and he was waiting for someone to call to claim it. Never again Ferguson will you get my business - I will drive the distance and pick it up myself given the anguish and time wasted to get the bike from you donkeys.
After reading the reviews above its a common thread obviously - I'm amazed you stay in business........cos you wont be getting any of mine again.

Never again, most appalling service ever, would not recommend to anyone. Avoid at all costs. After confirming my latest pickup date 3 times (at the end of a 1 month window), they missed it and caused significant cost and inconvenience to me.

NEVER AGAIN! Bike took 4 weeks to be delivered from QLD to SA. They were quick and promt to take $600 payment and collect the bike, then it just went downhill from there!

I was originally told up to a week, then 2 weeks, then 3 and so on. Absolute rubbish service! Lied to, [Redacted personal identifier] fabricated stories saying driver had a heartattack and bike was in depot...Your a national company with what, one driver?
They never return emails, never return calls!

My bike also arrived with an additional 2km on odometer with zero explanation only more excuses and tried to weasel out of it, yet I had proof of delivery doc and photo of km when it was collected!

There was no follow up, I always chased them, they never returned calls or emails

USELESS BEWARE!!!!!
