love their dim sim menu and dinner menu. The best Hong Kong cuisine on the Coast!

Staff are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Have been a long time customer and absolutely love the staff (Harry, Mandy and Fiona always welcome us with a warm smile. We miss seeing Danny around. My son tells me he is his best friend. The whole staff treat us like family. Lunch or dinner, it's fantastic! probably the best Chinese restaurant on the Central Coast! Keep up the awesome work. Our son loves the free apple juice and being called the boss! I love their tasty treats. Great food and experience!

We've patronised this place many times because it's the only place for yum cha in our area and food is quite good while the service is generally mediocre but that's something we can overlook; until today. 10 of us (7 adults+3 kids) celebrated a friend's birthday. There was a miscommunication with a fried rice order and Staff A claimed that we had "ordered wrongly". Since there wasn't a menu, he just grumbled and agreed to bring us the updated order. As my friends tucked into the second fried rice brought to our table, two of them found pieces of foreign objects in their rice and they alerted the staff. The same Staff A came over to inspect them and quickly sprung to his own defense by suggesting the objects could be fragments from our kids' toys! Hello....the kids didn't bring any toy to the restaurant! At this point, we were sure there will be no apology coming nor any effort for accountability on their part. Disgusted with the staff's attitude we quickly finished our lunch in order to leave the restaurant. Whilst settling the bill, my birthday friend decided to explain to another staff at the cash register that all we wanted was to alert them about a possible mistake in the kitchen and that we weren't gunning for a free meal. Instead of accepting our feedback gracefully, Staff B sided with Staff A who came running to us and accusing us of causing trouble and told us "If you're not happy, don't come back. We don't want you here!" Those were his exact words... words certainly not acceptable from any food/service establishment. I'm sad now as I have to go all the way to Chatswood for my yum cha fix in future.

Whether it's for Yumcha or otherwise Dragon's Door is always a great family dinner stop. With a wide range of dishes it's great for my families varied taste. Also catering for large families and small - it's varied for every guest. The food is always good, decent sized, cheap and prompt. The service was good - even going to play happy birthday to us (traumatizing!) and putting up with little kids running around and poking at the fish tanks.

Its famous YumCha lunch is as good as those in Sydney Chinatown. It is amazing to see how Central Coast has quickly accepted YumCha over last few years - it used to not that busy on the weekend; but now you have to book a table or wait for a table if you come after 12pm. And incredibly 90% of diners are non-Asian! Our family always enjoy the food and service here. It's good fun and great food choice for the whole family of all ages.

Approximate cost: $15 to 20 per head depending on what you order

When I last went there, great food and value but found it quite upsetting to see the lobster get taken out of it's tank before being cooked for someone else, my little sister found it so upsetting she has refused to go back

It must be the Asian culture. It is believed that the food is most fresh when it is taken out of its cage or fish tank right in front of your eyes. All Chinese seafood restaurants have fish tanks for you to order. It is a culture difference. Please don't get upset. But I can understand how she might feel.

Our kids (3,5 & 9) just LOVE coming here for dinner. The service is quick and the food always fresh and hot. We've never had a bad meal and service always comes with a smile & a sense of humour. Yum Cha for lunch is fun too.

Approximate cost: $16

I have been here several times for Yumcha on a weekend! Great selection including spring rolls, pork buns, chinese brocoli, chicken feet, lobster, mango pancakes and much much more. Also pretty good prices- always seems to average out less than $20 each when we go..
