Authentic Indian food! Haven't tried any other curry yet but the goat curry is really tender and delicious! The seek kebabs & the naans are good too!

I visited this venue in February 2013 and found the venue's atmosphere unique, intimate and inviting. The staff are warm and friendly - Service with a smile! The meals were tasty, fresh and well priced and were served within 20 minutes. I was particularly fond of the Sikh Kebab - great taste and I would go back just for this alone. Highly recommend to those who like a nice atmosphere.

Super cheap Indian restaurant that makes very good value lunch places consisting of curry, rice and naan for $11. The tikka butter masala is very tasty and not too spicy. The service is basically non existent but if you wave down the servers with enough gusto they will come to you. Food is delivered to the table quickly.

I have been to this place quite a few times. It used to be very good. Reasonably priced and quite tasty. But, recently they have been rather inconsistent. They are open until 1AM.

Approximate cost: $12 to 15

Have tried better Indian food at other places. Pricey food with almost nil quality. Will not recommend it to anyone.

that is so not true, have been to going to Desi dhaba for the last 3 years and it has never let us down. By far the best food with freshest ingredients. The food is so reasonably priced if it was any cheaper then either you are getting it for free or its rubbish that you are used to. DO NOT AGREE WITH YOU AT ALL!!

Description

If you like Indian food or if you haven't had Indian food before then this is the place to go for. The food is cooked the way Indians would want to eat it. Authentic, tasty and flavoured with true spices to come up with original and unique dishes that come from the street eateries of Indian Highways. The service is prompt and efficient with staff dressed in bright Punjabi apparel. Staff are attentive and interested in what you would like to eat, rather than pushing things down your throat. The walls of the dining room are decked with extensions of countryside huts and there are funny captions on them which come from the Indian truck drivers.

Approximate cost: $10
