Three of us went there for lunch last Saturday. I must admit I was pretty dubious about going to this hotel and when I got there I was pleasantly surprised.
Although the outside is a little dated - the interior has been refurbished and the steaks were out of this world.

We ordered the prime rib $28 which came with chips and salad and we also received complimentary garlic bread.

The steak was so tender it was like cutting through butter and so tasty. The guys working in the kitchen were very pleasant and helpful.

Schooners were also only $3.60 which is a bargain.
Its not fine dining but the food is fantastic.

Approximate cost: $22.00

The Collingwood hotel is a great place to go for either an outing for lunch on a weekday, or for a karaoke night on thursday nights.

With new chef Ivan, the food is better than ever with now a lot of variety and it is very delicious.

The gaming area is clean, with great service of free soft drinks every half an hour and snacks every few hours.

TAB and Keno service is quick and attended to swiftly, and the barmaids are taught how to pour a beer properly.

Overall, ten out of ten (:

Approximate cost: $17
