Had keys cut a few week back ( at chirnside park sc)hadnt had time to check if they were ok actually didnt tthink i needed to,anyway finally tested them and they were cut incorrectly,i take them back to get them fixed and was told without a reveipt there was no way he was fixing it and it wasnt him who did the work...absolutely disgusting customer service the staff member was a really horrible person to deal with..Took the keys to mister minute they fixed them for free in less than 30 seconds they were amazed at the bad treatment but not suprised ,...mister minit also explained that they would know if they were there own keys so shouldnt need a receipt ....

For as long as I can remember my first point of call for shoe repairs, key cutting or watch repairs has always been cobbler plus at Altona gate shopping centre. 100% for service attention to detail and problem shooting. So when my daughter bought a pair of shoes for the high school formal and they were a little too big I went to see the man with a solution. He opened the knot slightly and inserted a small wooden piece and hay presto shoes were tighter. Problem solved once again. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Went here today at 4:50 - 4:55pm and was advised that they could not replace a battery in my watch as they have put their tools away for the day and that he finishes at 5pm. It talkes no longer then 5 minutes to replace the battery and you finish at 5pm not 4:50pm, you lazy employee.

Went to buy a speciality battery and was going to be charged for a battery I can by on eBay for $3 for 2 batteries. Cobbler plus wanted to charge $24 which I noted last time I bought the same battery from a store was less than $5 which response was well I can get $80 for a battery replacement in this with a pressure test and wasn't prepared to offer a more realist price. Will not be going back.

I've had some mixed service from this business. Their engraving service is rather expensive and so I suddenly had to change what I wanted on the back of a medallion to make it shorter and cheaper. The work was reasonably neat.

On another occasion I had to have a key cut here twice because the first one was not quite right and wouldn't open the door.

I've also bought a watch from here which worked okay, but getting the band adjusted was a bit of a pain.

So, the work is satisfactory in the end, but a bit more expensive than people tell me they've got the same service for elsewhere.

Approximate cost: $Over $16 for one short name and a date engraved.
