Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. Staff are really friendly and food is delicious. I definitely recommend this place!

I didn't like it here. They offer home delivery, but the minimun order is $40 which i felt was a bit steep. So i dined in with a friend and the service wasnt great, nor the food. I found they added random seeds and fruits to things like a lamb dish i had i found sultanas? And in the briyani. I wasnt happy with the flat coke out of a two litre bottle poured in a glass either.

Approximate cost: $15

Only discovered this place the other day, and i'm so happy i did. I had the Tandoori Chooja - in a half portion size which was more than enough for me and my partner to try some. They have lemon rice which I havent seen in many indian places and it was beautiful. Its a big place great for dinner with friends or a group. Great service, highly recommend

Been to saffron few times, mostly been invited by others. Food is always good & staff is very friendly and attentive. It is really a quit large establishment with music facilities & dance floor. Still remember that crazy dancing on indian music with my mates. Really like this place,

After dining at Cafe Saffron in Ivanhoe I was looking forward to trying the one at Sth Morang. This definitely didn't disappoint. There are your usual dishes that you would find at an Indian restaurant, along with some unusual ones. Staff were very attentive without being intrusive. Reasonably priced for the quality.
