A great way to spend an afternoon - coffee and book browsing.
Recommend going here when not under time pressure.

We had coffee and the kids had ice-creams; both of which were well received ! Although its not the largest book shop in the world (thats a compliment), there seems to be a reasonable range if interested.

Situated on lake daylesford, this little place offers a big range of different books for very cheap prices. A cafe is also on the premises which offer great coffee and a bite to eat

This is a little gem. Set on the shores of Daylesford Lake, in a lovely picturesque setting. There are two floors of books - up stairs to a loft in the main cottage. There's also a garage next door where you can peruse the jumble of boxes and shelves of books to find a bargain - 3 books for $6. Honesty system - go and pay the shop next door.

The shop itself is light, airy and smells wonderful. Got down steps to a back section where the counter is. You can get snacks, coffee, ice-cream and there's a back terrace where you can sit out and enjoy views of the ducks on the lake and peruse your choice of literature.

There's everything - fiction, travel, history, politics, children's, lifestyle, craft etc. Quality second hand books. I love places like these. There were also some essential oils etc on sale.

A great place to drop in.
