Great if you're looking for cheap eats. Service is fast after you order. Good variety of hawker style foods. Always busy here with hustle and bustle. Easy dinner out. Service is average.

I love the Fried Pork Dumplings, 15 for $8.90. They taste awesome, so to me, that is good value. The staff appear rushed and disinterested, but this is outweighed by the dumplings. I've not tried any other dishes there, but they don't look that appetising to me. The restaurant is always cramped and crowded, so you're not going for the ambience.

Renamed to Raramen, we decided to try the old 'Bobs Kitchen' for lunch. Service was pretty terrible. Had to wait a while(more like wave to the waiter to come over) just to order our food. Our plate of 12 dumplings was missing 1 when it came(perhaps dropped off the plate on its way to us). The wontons in my noodle soup were pretty bad but the dumplings were fine. Can't complain about the cheap prices though most likely wont be coming back in future.

Where else can you can 15 delicious dumplings for $8.90?? Fantastic shanghai noodles, great value - my husband and I can walk away from this place with a very full tummies for just $15 a head! Don't expect restaurant atmosphere, it is sit wherever you can find a free seat, but so totally worth it. Food comes fast, is always fresh, and you can watch them make the noodles fresh from your seat.

Surprisingly this place is always in demand. We have tried various dishes here and can't say any of them had a wow factor. They were ok, maybe good, but not great. Don't know what all the fuss is about, especially when the service is average too. Seems to be more about churning customers in and out rather than giving them a reason to come back.

Food was average. I only went there as it was recommended by a colleague who said it was cheap. The service was really poor. There was definitely a language barrier and we had to ask for our initial tea about 3 or 4 times which is bizarre as these types of restaurants have a standard of bringing tea to the table as your being seated.

Have heard about this restaurant off a few friends, went twice. The dumplings and noodles were really nice, but the service in general was very poor. We had to stand up and to actually get the attention of the waiters on one of the quiet nights because they were too busy talking amongst themselves. Most of the staff appear to be new to Australia which makes it very hard to comunicate with them.

My husband took me here a few times when we first starting going out. Coming from a Chinese background I thought it was really thoughtful of him - to the food: it was great. We were both at uni so money was an issue - but we came here heaps to enjoy the dumplings.

Bob's Kitchen is a pretty good place to grab a cheap bite. The dumplings are very nice for the price. My Chinese friends reckon it is good for the price and, so, we often went here for good conversation over an inexpensive meal.
