I went there on a Friday night with some friends. The waitress was very friendly, helpful and came at the right times.
It was a bit noisy, being a friday night, so it was difficult to have a conversation with the whole 6 people at the table.

The food was definitely worth going back for. I had a chicken burger with chips for $25 and I would definitely go back again.

I'm not sure it's the best kid friendly option because of the noise.

Approximate cost: $25+

I know I am writing a lot of steak reviews for Tassie, but Steak and Seafood are two of my favourites and when people get it right they should be praised!

I came here with my family and although we waited an extraordinary long time for our meals due to what seemed to be a chef shortage or man-down in the kitchen, when we finally got our meals, they were so good that the long wait was forgotten.

Steaks were cooked perfectly, and perfectly seasoned.

We would go back here perhaps on a weekday instead or for lunch just to avoid any long waits as the place was extremely busy, so they must have pleased a lot of people.

A really lovely restaurant close to the wharf that caters for the whole family. It can get quite busy, but generally has a nice atmosphere. The food is of a high quality, and the kids menu is great. Overall, a very family friendly place to eat!!

A wonderful restaurant for the whole family. Located right on the waterfront, the interior design of the building is modern and relaxing. They have a good menu, offering a large range of seafood dishes along with catering also for the vegetarian palate. They provide also a great kids menu, along with crayons and paper for the childrens entertainment. They are a little pricey, but for a special occasion such as a birthday celebration, Blue Skies restaurant is ideal.

Went here for dinner with friends when holidaying in Hobart, and its a great place! Right on the water, great views. Had a pretty good selection of modern Australian food and seafood, but was to me a little to up-market. There was no garlic bread or basic entrees or starters, but the main meals that myself and my firends had were all very delicious! Great range of beer and wines also.

Approximate cost: $25
