Worst salon experience I have ever had! I have been bleaching my hair blonde for 10 years now and this is the worst it has ever looked. I wish I could give it less than 1 star.

I booked an appointment with this salon prior to starting a new job. When I call to confirm the address of my appointment there was a booking issue and they did not have my booking in for the time which was booked through social media. As I lived over an hour away from the salon I waited an hour before coming back so they could squeeze me in.

With the initial consultation online I had an estimate of around $400, while being in the chair the stylist (who was very welcoming) went and got my quote. Coming back with an insane $580 for foils, simple trim and a toner. I said I had to see if I could actually afford that and then they said if I was to go on a payment plan the cost would then go up to $650. With only 2 days before the weekend and no other salon that could fit me in I had to opt for the payment plan. In the initial consult I expressed I did have snapped hair from a previous stylist and I am focusing on toning/ maintaining the length and condition of my current hair.

While being in the chair I expressed having a sensitive scalp. The stylist then began foiling, she did not brush my hair at the beginning of the service ripping through my hair and pulling the knots apart with her comb/ hands. When foiling she was pulling my hair so tight I had to counteract the force on my head. Again expressing how sensitive my scalp was. After all the foiling was done and my head being in pain I had the halo heat lamp put on my head, with no towel or protective barrier I had to move from the chair as it started burning my scalp while the manage sat on her phone replying to messages and watching videos over the salon speakers.

When moving to the basin I was blasted with both cold and boiling hot water telling her my head was hurting. After washing my hair and returning the the chair I could see how light my hair was which made me fearful.

The stylist began ripping through my hair with a brush from roots to ends and I could see all of my hair snapping and breaking off my head. As she cut my hair I was never shown the back of my hair or the finish product. My hair has halved in thickness and I’ve lost at least 2 inches of healthy hair from the bottom. I had to go to another salon and have my hair re-cut to as all the snapped pieces had not been attended to at all.

After being so upset for a couple of days I called the salon back and spoke with the manager directly. I explained how I was unhappy with the condition of my hair. She stated that the stylist knows what she was doing and put the blame back on the condition of my hair. I expressed that I wanted to keep the health and potential length over gaining such a bright colour as I only needed my regrowth/ ends toned. I was not given any form of refund or assistance. I was told I could come back to the salon in over a weeks time for her to look at it and she could recommend products I could purchase to help my hair.

I will never go back to this salon and would not recommend it to anyone.

Was quoted $350 online with pictures of my hair etc. When arriving was quoted $500. $180 for a toner like what does it have gold flakes in it. When I said I don’t think I could afford this she would took it down to $420. Was not what I wanted at all. I wanted light blonde hair it’s a dark blonde extremely upset and over toned my hair. Apparently it was so much cause she colour corrected it don’t feel colour corrected one bit! I feel this salon is serverly money hungry and doesn’t even deliver close to what you want

Probably the worst salon I've ever been to - the owner is unprofessional, rude & has zero customer service skills. I have never felt so unworthy as a client as I did with Bliss. Pay more $$ & go where you will be respected ladies!

Update: had my extensions removed. My hair is butchered. And the owner Initially refused to refund me my move up appointment deposit ( giving her two weeks notice here) even though I had made it clear the move up won't be necessary as I don't want them anymore. Thankfully I used my $100 to remove the botched extensions. Ladies PLEASE be aware of this salon. The service it terrible. Your natural hair gets butchered as she hacks into it quite badly to "blend it"
With the extensions. I will NEVER go back here.

this business is now located in Heritage park. If you use their oxipay payment plan make sure you check what you are paying for. OXIPAY DO NOT charge an application fee or a cancellation fee which she will most definitely try to charge you. Call oxipay if you feel something is not right. I did... and I saved myself the $400 cancellation fee she tried to charge me for cancelling (blamed it on oxipay) when I realised the $900+ quoted for a colour, toner and treatment on my natural hair was ridiculous and something wasnt right.

Extremely disappointed.
I had been speaking to one of the stylists for over a month about specifically what I wanted, ombre/balayage hair. My hair is dark blonde.
They booked me in and wen I went in with the photo I had already shown they said that they had no balayage extensions in stock, I asked why I just drove an hour if they didn't have the extensions we'd been discussing for the last month. I was then told that it wasn't possible to put any colour other than blonde in my hair or it would 'come out a poo colour', this is beyond ridiculous as I had gone to three other hairdressers for consults and they all said no problem. (Bliss just seemed like better value. HA) so I told my stylist that under no circumstances do I want bleach blonde hair, I want a natural look, lots of mixed deep blonde, honey tones, she said no problem. She bleached my re growth which is understandable but after it being on my head for over hour my entire scalp is covered in bleach blistered, I'm not joking they're everywhere and painful. I then told the other girl that worked there exactly what I wanted as she was applying my extensions and she said she understood. After the full head of extensions being applied I then got charged an extra $68 for two pieces of tape extensions to put in towards the front, I couldn't say no or else it would have looked ridiculous. When she was done I asked when they were going to be doing the mixes of blonde through my hair and I was told that the extensions that had been put in were a mix (they're all a shade darker than white blonde) I was furious. My extensions were also cut at least four inches shorter than I asked. I am not a very outspoken person but I did mention several times that this is the exact opposite of what I wanted. I had to pay $517 for hair that I didn't want. I walked out with bleach blonde almost white hair, with extensions cut way too short and the cut looked like what a child does to their barbie dolls. I am a one income family with a newborn, I live with my parents, I do not have the money to treat myself so I cried the whole drive home as is been saving for over a month to do something nice for myself and I was completely crushed and -$517 when I left.
Not to mention I had to endure 4.5 hours of the stylists talking about their partners who were doing drugs around their children and some in jail. The conversation was extremely inappropriate. I couldn't be more unhappy. From the service to the quality to the final outcome. I could say much more. Do not go here.

Organised to have a head full of extensions done as my friend had only just had her hair done a few days prior. Hair looked nice but the $100 worth of hair products ??? made my hair look like an oil pit so had to purchase another product that they used to wash my hair at her house. When it was time to go back to have extensions moved up, I advised her the attachments were all sticky and looking like balls of glue. She took them out and sent them to her Supplier only to be told there was Wheat Protein in the hair that I put in there so the Warranty was void. I advised her that the only products I used were hers but she didn't care. So I emailed the maker of the Product who advised me that Wheat Protein was in EVERY hair extension product as its needed to strengthen and protect the extensions, that I should report her to Consumer Affairs. My loss for not reporting her as I lost nearly $400. But what was surprising when searching her business, was another poor lady who had exactly the same problem, same Wheat Protein excuse etc. Disgusting service when a product is faulty on more than one occasion, sad and unprofessional avoiding a standard Aust Warranty.

Isn't it ironic how the only form of review platform available for her business is on here? Google platform has been removed, can't review on Facebook or anywhere else. Red flags everywhere
