I was very certain this would be a great service, (Bigpong beining a Major telco) However, I found that the price for the movies were a little high.

Just like Quickflix, you choose what dvds you want to watch and they automatically send you one. You return the dvds in the envelope they provide you.

I have subscribed to Bigpond Movies for the past 5 years. I find it convenient and do not have too many problems with scratched discs etc.

I signed up to the on month trial for Big Pond Movies and was very impressed. Its so easy. You have a huge list of movies to choose from, add them to your queue and they will send them to your door in a return envelope. I watched them, returned them and then more arrived. The only reason I didn't continue with the membership was the cost. It is reasonable though.

We have been a customer of Bigpond Movies DVDs by mail for five years.
The catalogue is extensive and their service if there is a problem is excellent and ethical. You have to set up a list of DVDs you want and they will send you any one off the list so, if you are the kind of person that wants to watch a particular movie tonight then it won't suit but if you don't mind the 'lucky dip' aspect then Bigpond movies is good value (my children love the 'lucky dip'). Downside: This year I have noticed that turn around times are slowing down. Turn around used to be 2-3 days, it is now regularly 5-7 days.

Bigpond movies online offers DVD and blu ray rentals via the mail. I like the idea but it is not as cheap as you would expect and they dont have a huge selection of movies. The movies were delivered to my mail box within 2 days which was great and i can have then for as long as i want before posting them back in the free reply paid envelopes.

Cheap and affordable rental through the post. The problem l have is receiving DVDs that are damaged and freeze. This is a major concern that should be addressed. It makes me wary - will l get a dud DVD?

Have used other services like this one before but had problems with waiting time for DVDs and charges being high, this serivce is lot better. you don't have to pay late fees, or even leave you home to watch great movies, you can trial before you pay any fees as well

DVDs were scratch, even BROKEN sometimes when they arrived. So i stopped them. How they could actually put a "Broken in two" DVD in an envelope and post it off is beyond me.

its so handy to have this service online and movies at your doorstep and they are most of the time correct in everything they do and overall very happy with this site i recommend to anyone
