Friendly and great service, lovely and relaxed atmosphere with candles on every table. Food was delicious and prices standard - would definitely return. The French champagne was beautiful!!

Food was up to usual delectable standard along with great service. They even gave me complimentary dessert with sparkler for my birthday. Prices have gone up since last time but still worth paying for overall quality.

I have been to this fine dining restaurant a number of times and always came away fully satisfied. It is an excellent place if you want a quite place for a delightful French dining experience. The waiters respects customers' privacy very highly therefore an excellent venue for business people to meet and dine anytime.

Very good service and fabulous food. Great value and BYO is a great wayto go. We love French food and this was up with the best (including in France) Absolutely no hesitation in recommending.

Ardeche is a real gem, consistently good. Service is excellent particularly if the French manager/owner? is at your table. I often eat here before a show at the Canberra Theatre as the food is always on time and the bill delivered promptly. Such a pleasure compared to other nearby restaurants where service and food is erratic. My most recent dish, the coq au vin, was sublime. Last week's souffle less so.

Our party of 4 had a pretty good experience with the Entree and Mains a true representation of French cuisine. The service was good as well but their downfall was a pretty poor Tarte Tatin for desert. It was like a think piece of pastry with slices of apple cooked in the microwave. Had that been better i would have said Amazing!!!

Beautiful cut of beef with the best pepper sauce I have ever had. Nice selection of french beer too. Well done ardeche I will be back!!!

We go to this restaurant on special occasions, the most recent was our wedding anniversary. The service is always great- e.g. they remember which table we like to sit at- and the food is always excellent and timely. Plus they are happy to vary menu items to suit me e.g. I like to get one dessert with the sauce from a different dessert instead of the normal sauce. The venue itself is also very pleasant- it is a good place to get a bit dressed up for. The only negative is that because it has been there for over a decade, the chairs are getting a bit uncomfortable and more lower back support would be good.

Service was great. Friendly and engaging.
Set menu good value. Fish mains very good and good size. Duck and snails, lovely though very small serves. Will go back when cassoulet back on the menu.
