A lovely quiet evening with enjoyable and gourmet food. It was just what we were looking for as we wanted a peaceful, relaxing dinner while on holiday.

Visiting Canberra and came across Ardeche in our walk. What a fabulous find. Delicious food, we had chicken tagine & white rabbit. The chicken was one of the best dishes I've eaten. My partner enjoyed the rabbit although was expecting a different taste - through no fault of the kitchen - he just wished he ordered my dish ! Great service, well-timed; nothing worse than too quick or too slow. Very attentive, polite & happy. Couldn't fault a thing, highly recommended.

We have dined at Ardeche numerous times and have always been greeted graciously by Pierre, the host and owner. The food has been unfailingly delicious and the service friendly and helpful without being intrusive.

This was a first time experience for us at this restaurant. With a fantastic and diverse French inspired menu to chose from, each and every dish in three courses of dining that each person at our table of four received was well presented and perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of French technique or overtones. The service was friendly and attentive without being over bearing or false and meals were delivered in a perfectly timed fashion. The prices, while not cheap, were commensurate with the food quality and service and the serving sizes were quite generous for this quality of food. Altogether a very memorable and pleasant dining experience and remarkably, even after some consultation between ourselves, we could not really fault a thing.
