We purchased our wedding bands and engagement rings 27 years ago and still love them.They still look amazing and to this day people still give compliments on how beautiful they are.
such a beautiful family atmosphere. the staff at allgem are such kind and helpful people. sarah has helped me pick out such beautiful jewellery, and the men have done a wonderful job re-sizing a few of my items. can’t ask for better customer service. adam, sarah, jason, brendan and alfie are lovely people and definitely go out of there way to help their customers.
My partner bought my opal engagement ring here. He didn't know my size but bought it anyway. We came back in to get it sized and the staff were so friendly and cheerful. They sized it really well and fast too! They apparently have their own workshop underneath the store! It's been 5 years now and I have yet to have a problem with it! I wear it every day and a part from some scratches... the setting is the strongest setting of any ring I've ever had! Thank you Allgem! I highly recommend!!!

I use these jewellers for a bit of everything. A few presents here and there for my partner, a few x-mas gifts to send overseas (opal pendants etc.) and most importantly I use these jewellers to repair my jewellery. Unfortunately I have to travel a fair distance to get to the store but it is always worth it. My family have been using these jewellers since they began in 1978 and absolutely would not consider going anywhere else.

I have found that no-where else in Perth has a selection quite the same as Allgem.
In fact, throughout my vigorous shopping sessions and my intense travels to the outer most suburbs in search for a respectful and reputable jeweller, this is the place I would recommend.
I might not be the highest of spenders, being a bargain hunter at heart, but Allgem has fair prices to accommodate for all.

Quite a few years back my commitment/engagement ring was purchased at Allgem Jewellers and for a whole week I was more in love it than my with my partner, than a diamond fell out. I returned to the store where they happily replaced and repaired (apparently) my ring a few months later the same thing happened again I returned to the store and they, not so happily this time replaced the diamond. This happened 4 times (all within a 6-12 month period on returning to the store a fourth time I was greeted by an incredibly rude male, I was accused of removing the diamonds myself which I would have found hilarious if I had not been completely humiliated and offended I was also told that the ring was not designed to be worn all of the time as it was essentially a dress ring. The ring was on display with every other engagement ring in the store and they were well aware of the reason it was purchased....ludicrous. I was then informed that they would not be repairing the ring or replacing the diamonds again as it seemed it was my fault they continually fell out. I would not recommend this store at all as it fails in every sense. Oh yeah my ring is still missing diamonds, 4 in total now, thanks for nothing Allgem!
I hadn't heard about Allgem Jewellers before and I was surprised at how long they have been operating and the fact they are an old fashioned family business. After dealing with them I would never go to anywhere else! They have an in-house workshop, on site gemologists, valuers and expert staff. I had simply gone in for a ring re-size and I was greeted by the jeweller who went step by step to tell me what work was going to be done. This is very rare, my ring looked brand new when it was returned. Don't go anywhere else!

HORRIBLE SERVICE! DON'T GO THERE! I recently saw on their website that they do ring re-sizing on site, so I popped in on Sunday afternoon to enquire. When you go to resize something as precious as an engagement ring your are looking for friendly, approachable staff who are enthusiastic and have confidence in what they are doing. There were no other customers in the shop (1st warning sign). As I entered the shop, the attendant just looked at me. She didn't even acknowledge me, she waited until I made the first move. So I enquired and said 'Hi there, I see on your website that you do ring re-sizing and I was wondering if you could have a look and provide me with a quote to get my engagement ring resized." She waited a few seconds before reluctantly getting up from her chair and mumbled the words 'okay' under her breath as she walked towards me and then stated "It depends" (2nd warning sign). I looked at my partner at this point with a look of doubt, not feeling very confident with the unfriendly service so far. I showed the shop attendant my ring and expressed that I felt uneasy with her lack of enthusiasm at which she took a step back and sarcastically said "Well, what do you expect, do you want me to jump around with joy" (3rd warning sign)! I took my ring back and said "I'm leaving". I then asked for the shop attendant's name as I turned to walk out the door as I felt her attitude was rude and needless to say unnecessary and felt obliged to make a complaint. She ignored me the first time. When I asked her for her name again she told me to forget it and told me to look at the camera and smile. Is this how they run a business? People with this lack of enthusiasm and bad attitude like this do not deserve a spot in the heart of Perth CBD. Upon visiting another jewellers the same day shortly after (which was busy and had friendly, approachable and enthusiastic staff) they were able to acknowledge me quickly and although unable to do ring re-sizing they recommended a jeweller who can and gave me their business card. I deal with a lot of rude people in my profession and I cannot get over the lack of customer service.

The lady you describe is suffering from PAINFUL ARTHRITIS and still got up to have a look at the item you had. I was downstairs servicing a piece of Jewellery for another satisfied customer. We have Thousands of good repeat customers.Some items we cannot do due to the quality of the manufacture being quite poor. I know you wanted your five minutes of FAME for trying to be rude, but you could have just been polite and I was on my way up to assess the jewellery. By the time I got to the shop floor I could hear what you said to the staff member and it was NOT polite. The TONE was not necessary. We help most people, the other 0.5% we can't.. Some people CAN NOT BE HELPED.
Considering the lengths you have gone to promote yourself in the online media, I may also surmise that you had been sent to cause trouble or very bored.
Went to this Jewellers a few months ago and felt the staff didn't like teenagers. But went back this week and they have some new younger staff. Love a shop with people that can relate to my age group.. they have some really great jewellery in silver... Oh and the new young guy that works there is really HOT!!!
The place for beads of every colour... looking in their window I don't think they sell much in the way of general jewellery... they have very pretty pieces, if you want something different. i think they cater for tourists.
