Just to point out that those claiming "Deposits not Returned" actually expected us to deposit the sums into their Bank Accounts when the Deposit had only been "Pre-Authorised" and not taken and no amount of explanations including asking them to talk to their Banks did any good.

Some people should attend a course on "Usage of Credit Cards" and what the terms and uses mean.

It is a shame but we are a Car Rental Company and cannot educate the many Medusozoas who do not understand the term "Pre-Authorisation" where the money remains in their account and is released on the return of our car but never taken.

Yes! Ignorance is bliss and proliferates our society even more today!

FYI - Definition of Pre-Authorisation:

A pre-authorization (also called a “pre-auth”) is an amount of funds for which the Customer's bank places a temporary hold on a customer's credit card for the amount in question and which is released for use at the end of the specified period. It is not removed from the Customer's account unless something goes wrong or a breach by the Customer occurs!

This guy is a total scam artist, waiting almost 6 weeks for my deposit to be returned. Have called multiple times and keep getting given some bullshit answer that they will call me back or I have to wait for Carl to return. There has been no reason for us not to get our deposit back and also the car we rented needed to be jump started for us to return it to the lot. Outside of all this, Amil was extremely racist when we initially went to pick up the car, making rude and derogatory comments about people of Asian descent. Do not rent from this man!!!

All Age Car Rental's Online car rental booking and Polite Staff called us to confirm and explain our responsibilities. We had a new Toyota Camry Sedan and their Service was superb. In fact the car was only a couple of months old too. We managed to get the car for $ 442 for the week with no hidden surprises or extras and INCLUSIVE of all insurance, baby seat, etc. The car was perfect for our sunshine coast holiday. In fact, it was over $ 200 cheaper than the alternatives (Thrifty was $ 857, Hertz $ 652 and Avis $ 922) for exactly the same rental. Get a deal while you can – We did!

The price quoted by All Age Car Rentals is the full cost and no extras to be paid when collecting the car at the airport. From the time we landed at the Gold Coast Airport and right until the end of our holidays, the ease with which we booked our car, we were given the exact car we had booked, collection at the Airport was a breeze, use and return of the vehicle and a short walk to hop back onto the plane was absolutely unsurpassed. Their website was excellent and offered a complete Drive Away price. Their customer service was 5 Star and their vehicle was less than 2 years old and extremely economical to run. And the best part was that for a few extra dollars, our 19 year old son could also drive the car giving us oldies the freedom from the young ones when they wanted to do their thing. It was en extremely pleasant boon for us. No mum's taxi service while on holidays. My Family flew in from Scotland to spend three months from January to March celebrating and visiting on the Gold Coast. And before they left Scotland, we were recommended All Age Car Rentals by friends of ours who had used them previously. One phone call to them and we were hooked. We spoke to the Manager who could not have been more helpful and flexible with our requirements. We hired an SUV at a fantastic rate. Both the car and the service we received on arrival was first class and even when I pre-arranged the car on the penultimate day of departure from Scotland, the Manager could not have been more helpful. His assistance and service was more than welcome. We will definitely use their services when we visit the Gold Coast next year again to visit family. I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

I have hired from All Age Car Rental for our annual 'roadtrip' for the past 6 years and have always found their service to be exceptional. Our first hire was a late model 4 door option and we received a 1 year old Hyundai. It was in good clean condition and cost only a fraction of the price of other companies who quoted us for much older vehicles. On our first hire we chose the cheapest insurance and had to have a deposit held while we had the car (which is understandable since we chose to be liable for that amount if we had an accident) The deposit was refunded in front of us when we returned the car and was in our account the very next day. As a repeat customer our rates have been capped for life and we now receive brand new cars at the same price no matter what time of year we hire. Service from All Age is very personal all we have to do is call and let them know when we need a car and they have a one ready for us (even after hours) Our last hire was only a few weeks ago and we hired a brand new nissan with only 46 kilometres on the odometre which we drove to alice springs

Do not ever ever hire from these people they give dodgy cars, dodgy service and charged my credit card $3000 unauthorized. I will never ever rent from anyone but a reputable company again! They never answered their phone and took the money straight away for the rental and never sent any confirmation.
