The fish is always fresh like it just came out of the ocean. The chips are really good too. I love their little nibbles too. Thought their staff were really friendly. It was overall a really good experience.

Best battered fish we have had by far in a long time. Value service and great customer care. Staff are so delightful to speak with.

Very nice fish and chips here! I used to come here all the time when I was pregnant. It is just so good.

The calamari and salads are better then most fish shops. It is nice and fresh, slightly more expensive then most though and the drinks are very overpriced.

The Salt and Battery is a great place for catching up with friends regularly. It has good value and tasting fish and chips and lovely tasting root beers. A great place to come back to regularly.

A step above the usual "fish and chip" shop but still has a very casual feel to it and the prices are still quite reasonably. YOu'd pay a bit more for food here as opposed to your corner store fish and chip shop but its well worth it. The food comes out fast and hot- I've never had any cause to complain! Staff are friendly and helpful. Its BYO which is even better. Would recommend for a casual lunch. The drinks are a bit pricey so I'd recommend bringing your own.

Enjoyed lunch with my husband and toddler. Used a voucher from one of those group buy sites. Delicious food, great value. Location is nice a little warm in the middle of the day.

Very nice meal, chips are great! Always crunchy, fresh and hot! Great selection of seafood to choose from too. Price was dearer than expected for a Fish and Chip shop although the quality is higher than average. Beautiful salads to select from as well. The restaurant itself isn't flash will all outdoor dining. It is BYO which is handy as well.

Nice fresh fish and chips, well seasoned and not greasy. Portion size was slightly smaller than I would expect for the price, but fair for one person. Only downside was the slightly watery tartar sauce.

really dont get why this place is so popular. Its grosely overpriced and the food is very very average. I go to a fish shop up the road which is much nicer and half the price!
