In the past they have occasionally omitted a couple of things from our order. As they are not really close we would phone and complain and they would offer to provide the missing item, but sometimes it was not worth the drive.

Recently I have noticed that the orders have been pretty much spot on. The service has been fast, and the food has tasted fresh. There is a good range on offer at the moment with KFC. Their crushers are awesome and you get one instead of a can of drink on their meal deals for a small amount extra. We go to this one quite regularly even though it's slightly out of the way.

Modern Compact Dental Centre. 2 Operating Rooms. Small waiting room. Friendly.
Like the previous reviewer said, these guys are quick. I wife recommended this dentist because they were really nice to my youngest child. The reception were very polite and courteous. The waiting room is extremely small so you may have to wait outside, but i notice you never have to wait for long. I went in there and asked they fix one troublesome tooth without trying to look for other problems. They agreed, fixed the problem, then i was out of there. I will definitely go back (if i need to but i hope i don't).

I have been going to this Vet for quite a few years. I used to go to another one near Whalan that was more pricey and no better. Years before that I also used to go here just after it opened. I only switched because my petshop dog had an agreement with the Whalan vet for one free vaccination. I take both my dogs to Quakers Hill Vets now and they are courteous, and efficient. There may be a wait and times but I have never considered it excessive, just an indicator that a lot of people use this Vet. They are doing that well lately that they are currently expanding their business with building renovations. I have not had any serious issues with my animals but they have helped with nail trimmings, ear infections, rear end gland problems etc. The annual vaccination seems slightly cheaper than most. I can't complain and have no reason to change.

Wow that first review was harsh. I have been going to this dentist for years. He does seem quite antiquated but has alway been friendly & seem to do what was required. As with most dentists there a many return visits recommended that set you back a small fortune. I cannot criticise for that as it is part of the overall treatment. He did remove a troublesome buried wisdom tooth of mine for which i am eternally greatful. But always got the feeling while going there that maybe i should try somewhere else that was a bit modern. I recently found somewhere else which, so my family have stopped going to this particular dentist.

New business just opened this year. Very friendly. A decent coffee place was the only thing missing in the plaza. Gloria Jean's is a great place to buy amazing coffee & cakes. I frequently buy the 200g wholebean flavoured coffee, and get them to grind it for my plunger. Great place to sit and rest and enjoy a quiet coffee.

Still good, but doesn't appear to be as good as it used to be. Reasonably quick fried chicken. Chips a bit on the soggy side. Keep up with the quality guys!

I have been going to John (Vella) for quite a few years now. With a mechanic, you want someone that is trustworthy, reliable, friendly and fair minded. John is all these things. You can phone him on 02 9678 9294 or his mobile 0412 706 681.

He was recommended to me by a friend who said he was one of the best mechanics in the local area to go to.

I have no reason to go looking for any other mechanic as John runs a tight crew that know what they are doing. He seems to treat every customer like a best mate (ladies included) and nothing seems to be too much trouble for him (i find that amazing considering how busy it can get).

Approximate cost: $Cost varies depending on repair or service. Can do log book servicing to manufactures specifications

Great haircuts mostly for men though will cut ladies hair that just need a simple style cut. I've been going there with my kids for years (about 8 years). At first I thought he appeared unfriendly but he showed an enormous amount of patience with my youngest son who kept interupting him about his water dispenser, then asking about where to put the empty cup. He usually keeps a lolly jar on the counter and at the end of the cut asks 'do you want a lolly little fella'.

I like it there because the service is great, he remembers which way you last got your hair cut, it is quiet, I get a little peace to read the daily newspaper always on the table while the kids get there hair cut.

I ask my boys to they want to go somewhere else but they still prefer this place, the same as me.

He does not advertise. He maintains a steady flow of customers through word of mouth, and i am hesistant to provide a review as i don't want my little slice of paradise to become overcrowded but he definitely deserves the business.

Give him a try, you wont be disappointed.

Approximate cost: $About $18, kids are cheaper

Better than most ! After having a bit of a bad experience at Doonside Preschool, we gave Marayong Preschool a try for our youngest. I would definitely use them again as they are old style in terms of friendliness, professionalism, and just generally treat your child nice, like a child. The problem we had with Doonside (and apparently a few other parents did as well) is they wished to try some 'new age' ideas, untried, untested. They weren't that bad, but they weren't that good either. On the contrast, there were no issues at Marayong. Highly trusted.

As a local I am amazed at how they can constantly get the order wrong at this store (usually 3 out of 5 orders there is something missing). You shouldn't have to check your order each time but if you go to this store make sure you do. Don't worry about complaining to the store Manager, as sometimes in late afternoon, you will see her frolicking outside the store with friends which does not look professional. My wife told me on her recent visit that one young fellow threw the change across the counter. Other customers were aghast and told her to complain which she did. The male store Manager immediately reprimanded this young boy who appeared that he didn't care less about having the job. I think I encountered this same chap serving me on my last visit two weeks ago (it's funny but my change went rolling away too), and having checked the chip bag and seeing 4 chips with the 4 drinks (ordered 4 meal deals) I neglected to check the burger bag (big mistake). When i got home, of course there was only 3 burgers. How on earth can they get that wrong ???. You start to wonder after a while is it on purpose, as there would many people like me couldn't be bothered traveling back to the store to complain over one burger. They really need to lift there game here starting at Management level.

Approximate cost: $8
