I might be a bit biased because 3 of my grand kids work here but i truly love this place. The gravy is made on premises & has a unique taste which adds flavor to the whole meal. Great chicken fried or bbq'd & great friendly prompt service.

Had an alright experience here. The fried chicken was average but not bad, a bit overly greasy & mildly warm. while the chips & gravy were great as they had a different but good flavor sort of tang!y! However didn't enjoy pasta salad, had a very peculiar taste. Service was very quick.

Very cheap option to kfc. AMAZING chips and gravy i love picking them up for a snake after work. Very nice but very poor customer service. Just just need to smile more and more then one person wearing a uniform.

Maybe not the healthiest, but a very tasty option. They have a taste all onto their own. The gravy has a special kick that keeps bringing back everyone, its made with the fat from the chickens & is delicious. You can get a pasta salad or coleslaw if you need salad lol. Love it yumm !

Did not enjoy this experience, staff were tired or bored, food not very good. Maybe I was unlucky, but I couldn't eat it, threw it out. Not sure I would try this again

A friend who lived in the area 2-3 years ago paid us a visit recently and one of the first things he said he missed about the area was buying Chicken King ... and off he went to buy some. Their 2 piece chicken & chips special on Tuesdays is hard to beat. If we can't think of anything for dinner, Chicken King is pretty high up on the list of choices. Chicken is always fresh, and chips are ok. We usually get mini gravies to to with the meal.

Best chicken and chips for miles! I go out of my way to come here!
The chicken salt is mouth watering, the gravy is amazing and the chicken is juicy and tasty.
Great for takeaway, grab some chicken and chips and head to nearby Woodcroft Lake for a lovely view.

Have been buying chicken & chips here for years, since I was in high school, which was over 10 years ago! Flavour of chicken & chips has remained consistent and they still have their 2 piece & chips special. Service here was always great but lately, I'm not sure if it's cause of a new owner or just new staff, it hasn't been the same, still efficient but not as friendly as it used to be.

I have been buying chicken for years, they have the best variety of chicken and every piece is tender and juicy.there chips are always fresh and there gravy is the best! they also have coleslaw,potatoe salad and pasta salad all at a reasonable price.
