Great takeaway Chinese restaurant in Calwell. I have never dined in, only takeaway. The takeaway banquet options are great value and they happily swap dishes if there is something else you'd prefer instead.

Great local takeaway, love their pizzas and they are very quick even when it's busy. Unfortunately they aren't open on Sundays, would be awesome if they could change that.

Sweet little florist/gift store in Coleman court. I haven't bought a floral arrangement from them yet but their displays are impressive. I bought a small figurine to use as a cake topper and it was beautifully made and well priced.

Dobinsons is excellent for grabbing a tart or cake to share, we often use it for work morning teas and it's always popular. A little bit pricey but so tasty!

I went to Sage with my partner after it was voted one of the best restaurants in Canberra but we were a bit disappointed with the experience. We had made a reservation but our table backed onto the bar so we had to have our conversation over all the staff all evening. The menu was well designed however some dishes seemed overcomplicated. Staff were polite but not very helpful when it came to things like assisting in the choice of wine. We considered it rather overpriced for the quality. Next time we'll go to Boathouse on the Lake instead, much better value for a higher quality meal.

Stunning views over Red Hill in Canberra's south. Their degustation menu is seasonal and well priced. Polite staff and nice ambience in the dining room.

Typical Asian bubble tea place. Huge amount of options, their fresh juice is quite good too.

Good cafe near ANU. I've only had their coffee which is well made and done quickly too to help out rushing students. Friendly staff as well.

Basic Malaysian restaurant that does both dine in and takeaway. They do readymade lunch boxes for $10 including a drink which is good value for the city but best to go early so they are hot and fresh.
