Have used Renzo from Renaissance Plumbing on various occasions from small plumbing problems, dishwasher, and hot water service replacement, and now undertaking and completing a kitchen renovation. Part of this renovation involved them coming out on couple occasions to firstly disconnect the plumbing – water and gas to the kitchen area, and then secondly re-connecting water tap, sink, and dishwasher as well as installing a flue to my rangehood fan to flue to outside my house. Renzo's professionalism, courteous manner, and prompt service enabled me to co-ordinate the plumbing aspect of my renovation without any delay. Compared to others, Renzo was by far excellent value for money and was prompt in replying to any requests made as well as making suggestions, and for this I thank him on behalf of myself and my wife and will have no hesitation in continuing to use Renaissance Plumbing.

We have just undertaken a kitchen renovation. Our experience with Westile started about 4 months ago wherein myself and my wife fell across the showroom in Deer Park and it looked like David had just started up business. We were after tiles for the kitchen and were pleasantly surprised at the selection on offer. What made the experience more than pleasing was dealing with David. Despite numerous occasions that we went to see him, he never lost faith in us and offered more advice and service that we could have hoped for. He is very patient and very courteous and best of all offers good quality tiles at very affordable prices. Our only regret is that we only bought a small amount of tiles that we required for our situation and considering the amount of time and patience he gave us we would have loved to spend more. We can highly recommend David and Westile for fantastic service and quality of product and we will have no hesitation in future for any tiling needs that we just see David without going to waste time and petrol looking elsewhere. Great dealing with you and good luck for the future as well as your playful cat that ‘guards' the store.

My wife and I have just completed a kitchen renovation with Alan from Top Edge Kitchens. Our saga started about 12 months ago when we had a couple of other companies come out and give us quotes which we found outside our budget. We then went down the track of talking to a kitchen cabinet maker/manufacturer that was recommended to us. What a waste of time that was. He came out and measured everything but couldn't give us a quote nor satisfy us that he wanted to do the job. We then sought the help of WOMO and found another kitchen guy close to home. Despite getting great reviews and his communication to us was great as well – we agreed to proceed with him in April and set a time 3 months in advance (July) to do the job which was perfect timing for him. As time came close to doing something the excuses started coming out and we abandoned him (once bitten–twice shy) as we had already started to dismantle and commence renovations. WE WERE STUCK.

The following Sunday on a leisurely afternoon drive along the Western Ring Road we saw Top Edge Kitchens. My wife was keen to make the call. I was a bit hesitant given what we had gone through. I made the call Monday 16th July 2012. Had a bit of a chat with Alan and made an appointment to come out and see us Tuesday 17th July at 6pm. He saw the predicament we were in. He spent about 2 hours with us and came up with couple new ideas and drew up an outline. He gave us a quote on the spot which was a little bit more than budget but had also included extras that weren't previously taken into account BUT MADE THE GUARANTEE he would have it into our house within 6 weeks. We went with him and started the ‘ball rolling' straight away. We saw Alan again the next day on Wednesday wherein he gave us a 3D drawing of the kitchen, organised colours, handles etc and had a quote ready for the stone benchtop from his supplier as well. He can also assist in sorting out other trades people if required such as plumbers, electricians, plasterers etc. Six weeks later, and on time, our kitchen is installed with no issues. The workmanship, and care taken along the way, gives us no hesitation in recommending Top Edge Kitchens to anyone contemplating a kitchen makeover. Alan kept to his word and we are grateful to him and his company Top Edge Kitchens for assisting us to make this happen.

Currently undergoing a kitchen renovation and needed to hire a terrazzo grinder to get rid of ceramic tile glue from concrete slab. Having made my own enquiries with couple other well known hiring companies I was told about these guys. Matt from Yarra Hire was fantastic and explained the operation of the machine and what I should be looking out for. I hired the machine as well as an industrial vacuum cleaner as an attachment and to my amazement the cost was 40% less than the others and allowed me usage from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. Better still they delivered and picked up the machine. You guys are now my hiring buddies when I need to hire equipment. Good luck.

My wife and I recently decided to undergo a renovation of our kitchen area which had ceramic tiles laid from when our home was built some 18 years ago. Our original plan was to retain the floor tiles that were already there but then felt with a new kitchen we needed new flooring. We almost went down the path of putting tiles down again but when we found out the extra cost being minor to buy and install solid timber flooring the decision was made easy.

After making numerous calls we found Jason from Diamond Flooring who was kind enough not only in recommending a supplier for the timber but was more than helpful in giving us advice over the phone into what to look for but more importantly he was kind enough to come out and have a look at what was required for him to do. Not only did he turn up in time for that meeting he was by far very competitive in his quote to install the flooring. We had no hesitation in getting him to do the floor which was about 40 sqm in total (not big but was fiddly) and best part he turned up on time when we needed him there and finished exactly when he said he would. Even better he did a fantastic job and we would recommend you giving Jason a call if you intend on timber flooring.

Great service, great workmanship, great finish. Totally satisfied.

I needed to get some engraving done urgently and knew Ray hopefully would help out. Even though he was pretty busy with couple customers waiting and saying I would wait as well he managed to complete my work within a few minutes and still did it with a generous smile. Thanks again Ray you're a superstar. Engraving, shoe repairs, keys cut and probably lots of other stuff that I don't know as yet always helping me out with that great smile.

Have been using this service for many years. Mainly key cutting and shoes re-soled and repaired. Had engraving done few years ago for a small fundraising idea and Ray was very supportive with his cost. Also minor repair to handbag done for a smile was on the spot and no hassle to do. Always smiling Ray :)
