What a great place. Unlike the theme parks which are overrun with people and cost a fortune to even walk in the door, this is affordable for the family AND they allow outside food (keeping hte price down even further for the day out).
Heaps to see and do.... the kids loved feeding the animals. Fun day out for all.....
(My mum has a picture of ME at Alma Park Zoo when I was little. I'm sitting with the kangaroos eating their feed and they are all around me wondering what is this kid doing?? Ahhh the memories....)

I've only been here once and found it a bit underwhelming. Friends often get together here and rave about the place. As a non drinker (Don't drink alchol and therefore always the designated driver), this might be what was missing about my experience. Friends are always half tanked and I think that enhances their experience - they were so drunk so they therefore had a great time.
The food was nice and staff were there to do their shift and not interested in being pleasant to customers.
Don't think I'll be going out of my way to visit again anytime soon.

Quant little hidden gem. Fabulous food and fabulous staff. The cafe itself is decked out in retro decor which makes for a interesting experience. It is a trip down memory lane for those a bit older who grew up in Brisbane. There are old photos and memorabilia everywhere.
More importantly, the food is devine. Everything on the menu is exellent. Fresh food, great flavours. Excellent coffee. My family's favourite is the steak burgers. Love, love, love it.....
Might have to pop back in very soon....

This review is for Belmont Newsagency & Foodstore, Carindale QLD

I have been going here on and off for years. It has changed hands during that time but never lost the friendly feel. Be warned, this is not much of a newsagency. The store does sell a small range of magazines and the daily newspapers. But on top of that they have a good range of grocery items too. Very convenient when you want the paper, milk and bread! You only need to stop at one place.
Staff are very friendly and the store is always kept nice and tidy.

This review is for ABC Electrical, Browns Plains QLD

I needed my oven repaired and called ABC Electrical. They were able to get a repairer to my house 2 days later. The gentleman arrived on time and completed the repairs within 10 minutes. He left everything neat and tidy and appeared quite friendly.
There was a call out fee plus costs for the parts. But all in all, this was much cheaper than replacing the whole oven.
I would have no hestation to call ABC Electrical again if something else breaks down in my home.

We have used this company for a few years now (since we moved to our acreage property. We have a system that treats all our outgoing water on site (we are not attached to town sewerage fro outgoing water).
Their service is Ok.... not great. They often change staff and this has resulted in us getting conflicting advice.

This review is for Merlo Coffee, Fortitude Valley QLD

We have a coffee machine at home and it grinds our beans for us. We ALWAYS get our beans direct from Merlo in the Valley. They have the most amazing blends and flavours of coffee beans. I'm not sure how their prices compare to other coffee bean suppliers, because we have NEVER had beans from anywhere else (if it's not broken, why try and fix it mentality). The staff are lovely and give you a free coffee when you place the order for large quantity of beans (Im not sure how much you need to order before you qualify, we always buy around 6kg of beans while we are there - yes we are big coffee drinkers!!!)
I love the Merlo flavour and the staff are just lovely.

A great little place (and I mean little - they don't have much seating in available, so a word of warning - make a booking). On the upside, a small restaurant can make for a more intimate dingin experience and what they lack in space, they make up for in every other area.
The food is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. It is a cafe with Italian and Lebanese food (two of my favourites in the same place - what a winner!!)
I noticed that they have a spot to tie up your dog, so if customers are walking int he area, they can stop off for a coffee and bite to eat.
Plenty of parking and fabulous ambiance.

This review is for John Mewing Orthodontist, Carindale QLD

We reffer to go and see John for our son who needs top braces and an expander to widen his jaw. Before our appointment we were sent for an Xray sot hat John could assess the teeth placement etc.
The appointment ran on time and he was very gentle with my son and explained everything in detail and constantly asked my son if he had any questions.
The office is very nice and welcoming - didn't feel like a dentist surgery.
All the office staff were lovely.

Offering all the blinds, shutters and awnings for home or business. They have a huge choice of colour options and the service was great. Came out (Slightly late for our appointment) and did a full measure and provided many options for us to choose from. No hard sell, just offering what was available to suit our needs.
I did shop around before committing to this company - there prices were not the best but we felt that what they offered product wise was superior to the other companies.
