We contracted Andrew and his team at Home and Garden to revamp our ensuite. Our journey started with a visit from Andrew to look at our current ensuite and to hear our ideas. Andrew offered suggestions on design and provided a few suggestions of local companies re plumbing supplies. He quoted and we accepted and a start date was set.
Once we selected a supplier Andrew put us in contact with a consultant and we took our list of what we had sourced on the internet in for ordering. The consultant was invaluable – highlighting things we had not considered and explaining pros and cons – she also assisted with colour swatches. The lead time for the vanity, basins and tapware sealed our start date.
We opted to gut the ensuite ourselves and commenced the demolition with guidelines from Andrew on how far we needed to go and the easiest way to achieve this – ripping out the old vanity, shower, toilet and tiling. Andrew checked the demolition and provided us with a very comprehensive time line of when the trades would be on site and the tasks to be undertaken.
All the trades: plumbers, plasterer/chippy/handyman, tiler, electrician, shower screen installer were very pleasant, approachable, punctual and very very good at what they do. The job progressed smoothly and quickly. Andrew is a great communicator and he kept a very close eye on the project. The project ran to the time frame promised and the end result we cannot be happier with. The whole experience is one we can recommend without hesitation.
