This review is for Hair By Lauren, Caringbah NSW

I went due to a friend's recommendation. I wanted to get my hair fixed after a haircut (from a different store) recently. Overall it took about 20 minutes and the result was decent. I'll probably won't return due to convenience and price. It was pretty good if you live in the area.

Approximate cost: $26.50 short female hair

I heard from some locals that this was a great pub to grab dinner for a good value. Personally, after visiting it I wouldn't recommend it. The main meals take a long time to come out, the food's okay but undercooked and the price just wasn't worth the overall result.
The staff were friendly but it's not a family orientated restaurant and there's not real social interaction between staff and customers. The atmosphere is okay but it can get noisy. I just didn't like it.
The servings were large though, large enough I couldn't finish it.

Approximate cost: $up to $22

The food is fresh. They also fry their stuff in healthier oil. The service is nice but not overly intrusive. It's really close to the train station which is perfect. The chips are always hot, crisp and delicious.

Once upon a time I lived on the same road as them. The area was terrible with drunk teenagers driving past every night but this store was an absolute jem. I religiously bought cinnamon rolls from this place as a treat. I haven't ate in store (only take away so I can surf the net while munching) but the atmosphere seems clean and nice.
The price is decent. Not cheap but not expensive either.

Approximate cost: $3.90

The food's fantastic but very seafood orientated so it's not suitable for those allergic or picky unless you want a very limited array of options. It's almost always busy. The servers are competent but the maitres are the people who do the most socialising and talking. The prices are okay.
The wait for the food can be long depending on how early or late you come in. Early is always better in this case and bookings are essential if don't want to wait for an hour.

I feel unsure about this place. I don't have any professional experience or personal desire for sewing and etc. I just needed to make something for a class and the only staff was a Chinese man who seemed to look down on me for that fact.
I quality of the fabric was excellent and his advice was sound but he seemed quite intimidating with his attitude.

The cakes are divine but expensive for such a small slice. Believe me, those slices are tiny. The drinks (e.g. coffee, hot chocolate) are only passable but they do have bottle beverages.
I like getting my birthday cakes their because they make fantastic cakes and they're very nice about being on time to pick them up (oops!)
When I lived in the area I used to pop around at least weekly to sit and chat with a friend. It's more of a treat than a lunch sort of place.
It's not overly expensive but the serving sizes are tiny so beware.

This review is for The Little Chilli House, Hurstville NSW

I love this place. My family is of Chinese descent but none of them came from the area this food style originated from. I have a very low chilli tolerance along with my mother and the staff are very accommodating. They happily bland things down a bit with our dishes.
The staff are friendly but not overly attentive. The food's relatively cheap and I've heard from my Beijing friend that the food tastes authentic.

The staff are skilled at pastries and other goodies but their interpersonal skills are limited to the Chinese community. The food is cheap and of good quality but they mainly carry Asian style breads and such.

The food is slow but the quality is high. There are also meal deals (well, more like sets) and that's a good value. The service isn't terrible (in my experience.)
They can be slow but I've been compensated with a free side dish when I brought it to their attention I had been waiting for an hour. It is a very popular place.
The food quality and taste is dramatically better than most places in the area.
