We joined this club after another family member took us there. It has just undergone refurbishment and looks great, although it looked pretty good before. They now have a conference/function room too. The food in the bistro is great. Our favourites are the chilli prawns with pasta and the salmon. The prices are very reasonable. It is a great place to take children as the meals for them are well priced and good food. The young ones also get a bottomless drink, ice cream and activity pack. The coffee shop seciton is also good value for a light meal and coffee and cake, but interms of food the bistro is the best by far. The club also has good entertainment acts. The club also sends you a little something for your birthday. A great place for a family night out. Parking is a problem though with limited on site and street parking. Vistied them again recently and children do not get a free drink anymore, they are purchased form the bar for $1.00. the menu has also chnaged and the prawn dish is no longer available.

We had a great night out here. From the minute that we walked through the door(actually even whilst we were lined up), the staff we in character already making the night enjoyable. The entertainment started a bit slow for me, and I was not sure what part of the show we were at and when the intervals were(we had a photo booked), but the entertainment got better and better! The band was excellent, and the drummer's special treat at the end was super! The puppet show was amazing! The music show was also very good. Our waiter was great and very organised for the amount of people he had to look after. The food was a bit average, but the cocktails made up for it. My advice woudl be when booking ask for a table that faces the stage not one that you have to turn your head as it is quite uncomfortable by the end of the night, as the seats are crammed in becuase it is so popular. Still it was a great night out!!!!!

This review is for Myer, Loganholme QLD

I was shopping for a dress to wear to a function for work. I found a lovely frock, but the size I wanted was on a model in the store. I asked if I could try it, but unfortunately the lady that was giving me a little bit of service did not work for MYER but Cue within Myer so she directed me elsewhere. As there did not seem to be anyone around, she told me that I would have to wait for the visual merchandiser who was busy. It was a shame because whilst I bought something elses from the store, I chose to go searching elsewhere to find that special dress where I could be helped.

This review is for Spec Savers, Loganholme QLD

I went to Spec Savers to see what all the fuss was about. Yes I did get 2 paris of glasses with minimal out of pocket expense from my health fund. However, if I wanted a better quality lens with a coating for reflections I had to pay extra.(however to be fair most places I have got a quote from also do this) My test was okay, but the lenses that I looked through to see if I needed reading glasses, were dirty and smudged. I also felt that the test was only to see if I needed glasses. Relatives have experienced more than that elsewhere so I guess I expected more. When it came time to choose my frame, I was pretty much left to do it myself, as the store was too busy. When it came to talking about the lenses, the lady was too tired and even told me that she had been up all night partying. It was a bit disappointing.

We have frequented this shop a lot recently on our visits to the area and travel through Forest Lake. The grilled fish with lemon pepper is great. The salads are fresh. It makes a great lunch or evening meal. The value is quite good. The fish is so well cooked that you do not need to order expensive fish. We have eaten in house lately, the fish and sald served on plates and bowls and cutlery is available with cups if you wish to share a drink.

We took our children out to dinner at the last minute. The staff were very welcoming. We had an amazing time. The children really enjoyed enjoyed the experience. Our waitress was most attentive. The food was great. The setting was lovely and the children felt ever so special having so much attention from the staff who tended to the drinks quickly, and looked after the serviettes across the laps. It was a really great night out.

This review is for Loganholme Dental Centre, Loganholme QLD

We went looking for a new dentist after our last one out priced himself, and since then had not found one that lived up to our expetations on quality until we visited Loganholme Dental Centre. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The dentists were professional, caring and gentle. The practice is not particularly fancy, but has good equipment and most importantly great staff. The dentists and hygienist explained things to us very well, and answered any questions that we had. The prices charged were not over the top either, which is great to get great service and treatment at a reasonable rate, particulary when we have 6 people in our family.

This review is for Shailer Park Medical Centre, Cornubia QLD

Our family has been attending this medical centre for many years. The front office staff are caring, considerate and understanding. They try very hard to accommodate you in a very busy practice. Our Dr, Dr Flectcher is great with all of our children and our needs. He is most understanding and we would recommend him to anyone. The only problem that we have at times is the ability to get in to see him, as he is so very busy. In these instances we usually ask to be placed on the cancelation list. If an urgent appointment is required, the practice does everything to accommodate us.

Paula and her team are very welcoming. They remember every detail of your wishes and expectations. When you first arrive you are given an amazing relaxing head massage before your hair treatments are started. Paula, the manager and senior stylist, listens very carefully to what you want and does not impose her ideas on you. After a disaster with a couple of colours, which destroyed my hair, Paula was able to get the colour right and my hair is now looking healthy and great again. One of my favourite things which is an added bonus, is the wash basins that do not hurt your neck like most other salons and the chair that massages you whilst your hair is washed.
I would thoroughly recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a great hairdresser and salon experience.

Approximate cost: $120
