The second KettleFit gym to open up after Port Melbourne. An excellent group fitness gym, skip F45 and crossfit. Jarrod will let you have a session to try it out and see if it's for you.
I've been a regular at Kettlefit for many years, since Scott (the owner) opened up. Give F45 an crossfit a miss and try out Kettlefit. Scott knows his stuff and has helped me build strength and cardio fitness, without the injuries. It is female friendly and they've also opened up new locations in Fitzroy and Prahran. Get on down for a free try out.
I'm a regular here. Value and service are great. Quality isn't 5 star as it's not fine dining, but I'm glad it isn't. Portion sizes are excellent and my partner and I usually get heaps of entrees to share. Can especially recommend the San Choi Bao and prawn spring rolls, they're delicious.
Had my skin checked here by one of the doctors here, who specialises in the field. Can highly recommend. Seeing someone that qualified has given me good piece of mind. This place doesn't bulk bill unfortunately, but I haven't found any place in the area that does.
Best bakery in Port Melbourne. Quite busy and popular, especially on the weekends. That many people can't be wrong. Has a good selection of sweets for the sweet tooth.
Not a fancy place by any means. But it does have the cheapest pints in Port Melbourne. If you're after cheep beer, pokies, TAB and sports TV, this is your place. Open 8am-3am.
I went here once and that was enough for me. I had high expectations for such a busy place. It has an Americana style menu but I left feeling quite underwhelmed. Worth a try, but as I've been to better places with a similar menu, I won't be going back here.
Apparently this is the sister hotel of The Local, which is pretty much opposite it. I would call it the fancier sister. Gets a good crowd most nights and has some seating outside. Not my favourite, but not bad.
Nice and excellent location but not my kind of place. If you don't mind paying a bit extra for your drinks and food then this is your place. Don't get me wrong, being opposite the beach it has excellent views. It is more of a restaurant than anything else, definitely not a pub or bar feel here.
Funnily enough, The Local is actually My Local. Recently refurbished at the start of this year (Jan 2019), the local has upgraded the insides without losing its local charm. Still my favourite pub in Port Melbourne by far. Good happy hour, great meals, excellent location. Can't go wrong.
