Nice level of staff support, good value on some items, but overall slightly more expensive than city prices for the same items. Needs to improve the quality of their meats and fruit selection, too many dud fruits in their pre packed fruit selections, and not enough decent cuts of meat at reasonable prces.
Well stocked, although lacking in a decent range of large men's apparel, otherwise, a decent store providing for the needs of a small country town. Decent level of staff assistance provided when asked.
A 27 hole course, excellently maintained, but open to the public and with reasonable pricing. A good location for a weekend golfing holiday, with a large number of hotels nearby for accommodation. An excellent club house, recently renovated and expanded, a very good restuarant and available function room. Excellent venue for parties and special events.
Medals Gone Missing is a website that devotes itself to finding and retrieving lost or stolen war medals and memorabilia. The proprietor, a former Australian soldier, for a modest fee, searches through registration and sale notices of pawnbrokers across Australia, seeking to locate long lost medals to return them to the families of veterans. He also buys and sells memorabilia, either to see it returned to the rightful owners, or for his own collection, or on behalf of third parties. I have known the proprietor for over a decade and he i an honourable and trustworthy individual who is doing his best to reunite families with their possessions.
The Bayview hosts an excellent Thursday night trivia contest, free, with cash prize to the winning team and give aways to the place getters and other prizes throughout the night. The restuarant provides heap dinners on trivia night, with $10.00 schnitzels. A fun night, and cheap, with the chance of walking out of the hotel with more than you walked in with.

As a resident for many years of Batemans Bay, I came to find the quality of service provided by this establishment as the best coffee and donut location in the town. Well worth the price.

Willis'are an old Campbelltown favorite, the first shop opening in the 1950's. Their sausage rolls and pies are remarkable, and are often remembered by old Campbelltown's years after moving away. Their small tarts, especially the pineapple ones, are beautiful, melting in your mouth. The best I have ever eaten. I highly recommend a visit if passing through.
