I would never recommend Wilco plumbers after horrifying experience with their Plumber.I had booked visit of plumber for installation of Bidet bought from Cosco.Plumber(Mr Chan) came to my house on 28.09.20 at0900hrs.He inspected the en-suite toilet where electrical power point and fresh water point were in place and Bidet with its box and User Manual. After review he informed that he has to install back flow protection and high water protection device which will cost $560.0.
I told him how is it possible that an equipment being sold for $400/ and suitable for Australia will require $560.0 for installation.I told him to check if it is already provided to which he replied as a licenced Plumber we donot trust any one and have to install thIs if you want me to do the installation,otherwise pay me call out charges of $39.00. Obviously I could not accept such demand and paid him callout charges.
After he left we checked Manual and found that both gadgets are included and equipment is as per As/Anz’s 3500.1.Subsequently we verified with manufacturer and got it installed by another plumber for $150/.
Later on I wanted to speak to Wilco’s Manager and I was told by the girl in office that she will arrange with Manager to call me . After my reminder someone called me and when I raised the issue he stated that Wilco donot believe in any body’s testing and would install these gadgets again .When I contested that and then he by mistake said that he (Chan) only came to my house.
I only wanted to complain to Manager not to send Plumber who is not conversant with the epuipment to be install and over charge to innocent customers.
