Had my eyelashes tinted at Awesome Brows at Williams Landing. The whole reason for eyelash tinting was to allow me to go on holidays and not have to apply mascara whilst swimming. The eyelash tinting was poor, as one eye looked like I didn't have any mascara at all. The other eye was smudged on the lower eyelashes. The first thing I did when I got home was to apply mascara. Next time I will just spend the $20 on waterproof mascara. The beautician seemed very disinterested. Sorry, but I can't recommend this service.

Victor was very pleasant and professional. He gave me an indication of price before attending the job, and stuck to it once the work was done. He rang beforehand to let me know when he was 30 mins away. I had some light switches replaced and a couple of other items looked into for possible future work. Would happily call him in the future and will be recommending him to family and friends.

I called SOS Appliance repairs around 10am and they came out the same day and fixed my washing machine. This was excellent, as I had waited for more than a week, trying to organise directly with Miele, to repair my machine.

SOS were fast, the tradesmen turned up on time and he fixed my machine (I did have the spare part ready for him to install). Their rates were reasonable (cheaper than Miele) and most of all, I was so happy they fixed it the same day - a real life saver, as I was sick of using a laundromat and family for washing.

I would definitely recommend SOS and will pass on their details to family and friends. Thanks SOS.

Having tried many hairdressers in the Essendon area, I was grateful to finally find Hair By Kardia in Fawker St (near the intersection of Buckley St). I've been going there for years now, as they are one of few hairdressers that know what they are doing. They listened to my history of hair colour disappointments and identified what would work. My hair goes very brassy when it is coloured, but their product and the toner they use, makes my hair a nice ash colour, which is what I like. On top of knowing their products, the staff are very friendly and their prices are much more affordable than many other hairdressers. They also cut hair well. Whilst I haven't had my hair styled for a formal occasion, I have seen other ladies in there having their hair done for weddings or formals and the styling looks good. I can definitely recommend Hair by Kardia for good hairdressing.

I employed Manorwood Conveyancing (Point Cook) to do the conveyancing for a real estate transaction. I found them poor in so many areas. They didn't follow up special conditions that were part of my contract, in fact they ignored emails here until my time constraint had passed (didn't look after their client here). I was passed back and forth between staff, resulting in one not knowing where the other was up to. I found myself having to constantly ask how the conveyancing was going, with a lack of proactivity on their part.

The worst and final aspect was settlement of the property. The other party wasn't ready for settlement. Manorwood didn't tell me until after 5pm, the business day before settlement. And they didn't even call me. I got an email, without a reason as to why it had been delayed. And this was after I confirmed with them a couple of days earlier, was everything alright. Settlement got delayed a further 2 times by the other party. And I found myself having to constantly ask why and when would settlement be. Unfortunately, I found Manorwood to be extremely lack lustre here, as they just came across as not wanting to keep me informed or telling me what was going on. When settlement did go through, they didn't even call me, after all the hassle and inconvenience (I had to postpone so many things that I had organised with the house). I found out from my bank first that settlement had occurred, and an email finally from Manorwood. Considering they are costlier than the average conveyancer, their services should be of a higher standard. Next real estate transaction I will be using a different conveyancer and don't recommend them.

This predominantly homewares store has lots to offer and at fair prices. There isn't much to offer retail wise in Broome, so this shop was a very pleasant surprise. The gentleman who runs the store was very helpful and friendly. So if you are in Broome, give the store a visit as we found it to be the best store in Broome.
