Bread and goodies are fresh, soft and yummo! Love the salad rolls and sandwiches which make for the healthier option of what bakeries have. Pies are fresh and just the right temp to eat. Ladies are spot on with service and price is fair.

Have purchased fruit and vege on the odd occasion and found if not used within 24-48 hours of buying it tends to soften adn or wilt a bit. Prices are fair, service is good. I think maybe they have gone into selling to much variety like thongs, hot dogs etc.

DJ Kebabs are the yummiest, tastiest, filling kebabs around. Nothing tops these kebabs. The service is superb, coffee is great, store is clean and tidy and welcoming. Love their garlic and hommus sauce mmmmm. Just wish they would stay open longer.

Both service lady was rude including Manager. Manaher interrupted me being served to have a go at service lady for not doing a closing store call. However, service lady then continued to stop serving me and make this call then winged to me about how having to serve me made her behind in her recovery. The lady then sniggered at me because the bag was falling of the counter when I was paying eftpos with a 1 year old in my arms. Usually this store have friendly staff who are willing to help with anything. Not today though, and I sure wont be going back!

I had always bought from every issue of avon until my son developed an allergic reaction to the baby wash. I called and explained to them what happened, and pretty much got told I was lying! The bath wash stated it was soap, scent, fragrance free. Yet my son cried when on his face and developed a rash. Upon reading the ingredients it contained chamomile, lavender, tea tree and fragrance. I did receive a refund for the 10 I bought but only as refund price when half price! I have never had a phone call returned and they are still selling this baby wash.

Post office is in a spot that would be easier if more parking was available. Maybe at the shopping centre. Apart from the parking issue there is never a long line up/waut, staff are caring and willing to go out there way to assist in postage, bill paying etc.

The pharmacy at Calliope is great as we dont have to travel to Gladstone to have scripts filled. Once leaving the doc we just hook around the corner and all done in the one go. The chemist and staff are helpful and always offer the best of service and advice.
