We went here for breakfast on Sunday morning and we managed to get a table outside (though the tables and chairs aren't the best for the sidewalk).

The staff were friendly and happy and took our drinks order and left us to peruse the menu. The coffees came out relatively quickly and then our food order was taken. The coffee (Toby's Estate) is exceptional (this would be a mix of the good beans and a good barista).

We waited what seemed an eternity for our food to arrive (none of us had any meat in our order, so its not like they had to catch and slaughter anything!!). When the food eventually arrived it was however, very good. It was tasty and plentiful and was on par for cost compared to similar cafes we have had breakfast. The sauteed mushrooms and scrambled eggs (perhaps they were waiting for the chickens to lay the eggs?) are really good as are the baked beans. The sour dough toast was delish!

Not sure if I would rush back to this place despite the good food because the slow service really is a downfall.

Each time I go into this store I am always greeted with a friendly smile and a warm hello. This is a great place to get a unique gift for a friend or loved one. There a wonderful range of handbags, jewellery, scarves and other knick-knacks. Prices are reasonable and competitive.

We had breakfast here this morning and the food looks and tastes amazing. There is something to be said about a cafe where you can smell the garlic cooking!

The food is plentiful, tasty and there is a huge breakfast menu with a lot of different things to choose from. I had the "Not So Little Veggie Breakfast" ($20) and I wish I could post a picture of it because I did take one as it did warrant it! It was full of flavour and freshness that I will be going back to try the other things on the menu.

The coffee is great - large comes in a bowl (and for a sunday morning that is the optimum size!)

Little Treasures also has a lot of second hand book for sale which adds to the ambiance of this great cafe. The place is clean and the staff are friendly and engaging.

If you are planning to go and your group is larger than 4 peeps, then book ahead (even for breakfast). We were a group of 8 (including a pram) and our only option was to sit outside - not a bad thing - but they really don't have the space for more than 2 larger groups.

Open from 7am on weekdays and 8am on weekends. We got there at 9am (Sunday morning) and got a seat quite easily... when we left at 1045 the place was full.

Approximate cost: $20 for a full breakfast, $6 smoothies, $4 large coffee

Despite being a dessert house, this place should not be overlooked for breakfast. A good selection of breakfast options, the Haloumi breakfast is delish (though a note to the chef... lay off the salt as the haloumi can be like licking straight salt) and my hubby loves the baked beans with chorizo. Good sized portions leave you feeling full and content. The coffees are fantastic, as are the smoothies and frappes.

The outside seating area is great for space if you need it (say for a child that likes to move around and/or a pram).

Staff are friendly and polite.

Approximate cost: $52 for three breakfasts, 2 large coffees and a smoothie

If you are doubting good customer service exists I suggest you try Haberfield Post Office for all your post office and good customer service experience needs. The couple that operate this place are friendly, funny, helpful, indulge in small talk and have the patience to take kids passport photos over and over again.

This is a new favourite for the Haberfield area. Now I have a great place to grab a coffee and muffin on a Monday. Even though its a little further to walk (located not in the main drag of the Haberfield shops but at the roundabout where Dalhousie St turns into Boomerang St) the coffee is so worth the walk. Service is super friendly and fast. Gets busy before the school run and then after the kids have been dropped off. They offer an all day breakfast as well as lunch and snacks. The freshly made mixed berry muffins are da bomb!

Approximate cost: $4 large

A great kebab with plenty of flavour. Fresh and tasty with no over saucing. They toast the kebab which always make it taste better. Service was fast and friendly.

It has been a while since I indulged in a kebab (having been pregnant one tends to avoid kebab stores and salad bars!) so I was very happy to have had one that was a good kebab experience. I never know what meat to order so I like to do the combo option with tabouli and garlic sauce. The meat was cooked well, they toasted my kebab and there was just the right amount of sauce (no sloppy bits at the end in the bottom which tend to, without fail, leak all over you!). A great kebab. Service was fast and friendly!

Approximate cost: $8.00

Wow this place is busy! But it is a great place to have breakfast. We went on a Sunday morning and the place was buzzing. This place offers two distinct dining areas. There is the inside table service area which allows you to order from the full menu or the take away menu which you order, pay for and collect and can sit in the wonderful outdoor area (which frankly on the day we were there was brilliant as the inside was noisy and packed).

It was raining on the day we went so we couldn't really experience all the Grounds had to offer (that is checking out the place) but from what we saw we will def be back. Will probably aim to be there at opening to get in and out before it really gets busy.

It is a great place for all groups of people from families to the trendy DINKS.

Despite it being busy, the service from the take away counter was relatively fast and friendly. It is a little on the pricey side but that's probably because its good and there really wasn't anything else open.

The coffee was really good and the almond and chocolate croissant (who knew you could get almond AND chocolate!!) was absolutely delicious!

Approximate cost: $25 for two large coffees, plain crossiant, almond and chocolate croissant and a smoothy
