great way to give your opinion on local eateries and stores and to find out the best places to go and to get things done. It is often hard to know where to go and who is the best for things but womo makes that easy, a few clicks and i can find recommendations on who to go to for odd jobs and the best thai, to who to avoid for poor service or value. I have used womo to find places to obtain services as well as posting reviews and the community atmosphere is good too. I would suggest they have a venting forum as we often want to vent about poor services but don't get the chance to. Only downside is the communication around points expiring and of special deals on points... you never know when you can earn bonus points (like who knew about the 7-day review bonus?) also, my points have started to expire as i am not a regular going-out person and there was no notice on this, i would have used them before they expired if i was told about them expiring. an email would have been nice.

nice place for a breakfast if you are late to get out of the house. We opted for simple poached eggs on toast (2 eggs, 2 pieces of homemade toast), with coffees. Very cheap compared to other places in Moonee Ponds, which is this cafe's main drawcard. $8 for poached eggs on toast with coffee can hardly be beat. Good for when the budget is tight but you do get what you pay for, no frills or fancy ingredients or items available here, just a bakery with a cafe incorporated in it, nice coffee though and great prices and specials.

Great great cafe/bar hidden away in Equitable Place, which, if you don't know it, is between Collins and Little Collins st, parallel to Elizabeth st (the next street over). Fantastic place to meet people after work, drinks and coffee and snacks available with a good range and variety on display. Relaxed atmosphere and super friendly staff who show consideration and are happy to chat. Good coffee loyalty program too. Coffee was great, just what I needed, nice and actually STRONG, which is what I asked for. Worth finding because you'll be back once you know where it is!

nice but very busy little cafe in Degraves St, handy to Flinders station and a good stop off for a good coffee made quickly. They have a loyalty program also and their sweets are nice. Good food options and generous servings.

Good place for a burger, burgers are slightly greasy and not as well-put together as other places, burger was nice enough but not the best I have had for the same price. Chips were delivered in a cute steel basket but were a bit greasy and had hardly any salt if any. A bit of extra care in the food would be nice, my meat was just cooked and my partner's was well done. A bit of consistency would be nice. We had vouchers for free beers with burger purchases and this seems to be something they offer often. nice atmosphere with indie posters and decor and music. For a younger going-out crowd, which works well with the area.

Good place to go for Thai but not if you want anything fancy. Simple and rugged decor and atmosphere, it is often loud here but the dishes are generous, prices good, food is nice but not outstanding. Fairly reliable but it depends on what night you go, busier nights you risk having your order made wrong or slow waits for food. However, we also went on a quieter night and it was fine. Nothing special but good enough if you are hungry and want a big meal for cheap.

good restaurant to resort to when you are struggling to find anything else open. Food is good, good kebabs and dips and bread, mains are ok but can be a long wait. Cleanliness could be better and not enough wait staff on to assist quickly. Good restaurant but there are better ones nearer by. Best for takeaways. This place seems to be a bit of hit and miss as some things are great like the kebabs but other things like service and cleanliness are not so great.

great homestyle Turkish cafe to get homebaked goods and home style meals. Good prices, lots to choose from and good service, take away as well as dine in. Unpretentious decor and simplistic options to choose from. Great place to grab a quick and cheap bite to eat. Love it.

Great little cafe for a quick bite or a leisurely afternoon coffee. Lovely spaces and decor inside, very inviting and relaxing. Friendly staff, made my order as i requested and quickly too. Great coffee and the large is definitely large, in bio-cups :) They have natvia stevia and cappucino was great, not the same as a latte which you get in some places. We will be back to try the menu, very interesting additions including lemon curd with pancakes. yum.

great cinema that always has something different, we went here for the Italian Film Festival for a movie. Nice cinemas, on the smaller side but I prefer that to a large cinema, as they can be too noisy. Cosy seats and nice and quiet atmosphere. Lovely bar where you can even get a coffee late (this was after 9pm) and you can take it in with you. Coffee was great, very nice with creamy froth and smooth textured coffee. Will definitely be back for another movie soon.
