We work from home and Steve has rescued us when our computers have had problems. Mine was a blue screen on start up and a non-fuctional sound card, my husband could not re-load his printer software. Both times he was thorough and kept us up to date with when our equipment would be ready for collection. Mine had a glitch again the next morning and he got me to bring up up straight away and it was sorted and functional in 5 mins - phew!

All fresh ingredients, including some quite exotic - you'll definitely add to your repertoire! Extensive notes are included. Classes for kids held in school holidays. Gluten-free a speciality. Louise also does amazing catering for parties.

Miss Lilly is owned and designed by Lilly Edmunds, a Northern Beaches (Sydney) mum. She source gorgeous fabrics to create a cute range of toy boxes, dribble bibs, rattles, mobiles, and apron/smocks. The quality is very high and the prices reasonable - less than what these types of items sell for in shops. You won't be able to find her exclusive designs anywhere else, so it is worth checking out her website or making a point of visiting her at Eveleigh Markets. These products make great practical gifts for new mums.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Indoor and outdoor seating (dog friendly). Caters to ladies who lunch, labourers and locals. Extensive food menu including lots of gluten free options. Roast their own coffee. Efficient, happy service, even when they are busy. Open on many public holidays (check the website).

It pays to check the weekly specials if you are dining. Mad Monday's deal of Mussels or Spaghetti & Meatballs + Pint for $20 is outstanding value. And the servings are very generous. Communal tables mean you'll meet others as it isn't a huge venue and can get crowded. Not the place for an intimate date. But excellent fun for a more relaxed evening. Oh and the brewed-in-house beers are good too!

As the name suggests, they specilise in manicures and pedicures, but also do waxing. Obliging friendly staff, amazingly reasonable prices, quick efficient service. Not the world's most luxurious decor, but with prices this good, who cares?!

Fish and chips with a modern, fresh vibe. Good for families - plenty of room for the kids to roam about whilst the adults relax. Really good seafood, beautifully presented and reasonably priced. Staff friendly and attentive.

This place often has a queue out the door and no wonder... good value food, friendly service and excellent coffee. There is a playground opposite if you want to enjoy your coffee in peace whilst the kids play.
