I would not recommend this firm for electrical work. The attending technician appeared to be inexperienced.

First up, he was unable to answer or give me any assurance about an electrical question I had.

Then, he had no idea on how to hang a new ceiling pendant until I showed him how the old one was attached.

My chief reason for the call was to have two lights mounted over the bed. He was not prepared to drop a cable down the wall cavity, choosing rather to take the cables across to the new position. Unfortunately, the second bed lamp hit a stud and rather than attach it properly, he chose to put a machine screw into the drywall until it hit the stud, rather than use an appropriate wood screw. The light fell off the wall the first time it was bumped.

Then he said he couldn't wire the indicator LED to the switch for that light, saying he didn't have a neutral, in spite of the leaflet directions describing how this would be done. I had to convince him to wire the LED across the switch, as specified in the instructions as an alternative.

A fourth switch plate over the dressing table was not fitted properly to the wall, left crooked and leaving a gap. He didn't assemble the switch bezel correctly, so that once turned on (press-button) it could not be turned off. If turned off by removing the dress plate, pressing the switch, then replacing it, it could not be turned on.

The cost of this work was $1800, for one and a half hours on the job.
