I tried the restaurant in Flinders street once. If you are really, really hungry or hungover, go for it, but in my opinion it is not up to fast food standard. The beef patty in the burger was average and the chips tasted refried. I would recommend less grease and more crispness.

Melbourne Museum is located in Carlton, just north of the Melbourne CBD. I have visited Melbourne Museum several times and also took friends/family there when they were on holiday in Australia. The exhibits are very special, not only on a rainy day, but start as early as you can, because there is a lot going on there.
Watch out for Phar Lap inside the glass jar, he looks so superior! The museum's dinosaur, taxidermy and bug collections are awesome and the Human Body and Mind exhibits are also very interesting and entertaining. Funniest thing I remember were the different sounds of human flatulence :) And don't miss walking through the huge mystery box!
The Museum is open daily from 10am to 5pm. There are a shop, a café and toilets inside the building. I would recommend a visit in combination with an IMAX cinema movie experience. Did it once and had a day full of joy and entertainment.

Since we live next to southern cross station and travel a lot, we have always been taking skybus to the airport.
The service is operating 24/7 and one trip never takes longer than 25 minutes. There is a screen inside the bus and plenty of space to store your luggage.
I would recommend to purchase your ticket in advance if you don't want to join the end of a long queue at the skybus ticket booths!
skybus is much cheaper than the average taxi fare.

Yak is a very good place to have a pleasant dinner and is also great for a drink after work. However I would not recommend to have dinner on friday night as it can get quite noisy. But this kind of adds ambience to the bistro style and during the week it is fine.
By the way the restaurant is offering catering services.

Apart from South Melbourne, Noodle World is also located in Richmond and on Chapel Street. You can choose between a large number of Thai, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Chinese and Singaporean food. They offer very good take away food and generous portions for really good prices.
Don't go for it if you are not a big fan of garlic :)

This place is a nice one if you're after a quick and well priced meal, especially with some of their deals going around. However you have do without table service and restaurant atmosphere. Not the best seafood I have ever had, but quite filling.

My husband and I glady chose this steak restaurant for our wedding dinner as Rare is offering great food (the steaks were cooked perfectly) and having a nice variety of items on the menu. The portions are generous and the service is pretty good. Unfortunately there was a piece of plastic in one of our guest's salad, but Rare of course took the salad off the bill.
Overall, an outstanding steak experience!

I had the X-rays of the upper and lower jaw (Orthopantomography) done by Dr John Rouse before the extraction of my wisdom teeth. The radiologist and the service staff were helpful and friendly and gave me all necessary instructions.

The new store is a major improvement and finding specific items is no problem at all. I bought my wedding shoes and some other accessories for our big day at Myer. I also acquired a very exclusive suitcase because I couldn't find a better type of this product anywhere else. Besides I am a regular buyer of homeware and books. I also had a good experience with the Myer gift card as I could use it across multiple shopping trips which was pretty fine.
The Service staff is helpful and friendly. Overall, Myer is one of my favourites stores in the city.
