The staff are really friendly and most of them would even remember your order if you're a regular. They would attend to you as quickly as they can and make sure you're order is served properly.

They have the best satay chicken! They are that good that occasionally they sell out. The food is really great for the value and they give you big servings as well. Their massaman beef and stir fry chicken cashew nut are highly recommended. For starters, their curry puffs are also good and they have the shrimp and crab rolls which is not always available in every thai restaurants. The place is for casual dining and they also do deliveries and if you order more than $30 most likely they would give you a free drink!

If craving for Japanese food around the area, Tako has a pretty good variety for a small casual restaurant. I highly recommend their takoyaki which is close to how authentic they taste. It is very affordable, for mains such as chicken teriyaki, katsu or karage, they cost no more than $10. They also have sushi if you're on-the-go. All mains come with miso soup and edamame is always served fresh and my favourite starter.

Their cakes are delicious and they have a huge variety in the shop - from slabs of cheesecakes to mudcakes and teacakes, they have them! The good thing about them is that you don't need to buy a big slice, they sell the cakes by the weight so you can have a small piece of different cakes! The cakes can be a bit expensive though. I highly recommend the apricot teacake and the blondie for a chocolate flavoured cake but not too sweet and still has the texture of a brownie.. They also sell amazing pastry and coffee. The atmosphere is great, small but very nice for a catch up.

Best meals for a value price in this place! The Atlantic Salmon is awesome and if craving for pub food, you can never go wrong with the chicken schnitzel. The staffs are lovely and very friendly, always happy to help and even remember returning customers! The venue is good enough for a pub where you can choose to sit outside or inside. It's always packed whether lunch or dinner time and always my preference when I'm at Coogee. Would definitely recommend this place for their cheap but good food!
