This little coffee shop seems to do a thriving trade. Wondering why it is also packed, we went for morning tea recently. The coffee was nice (a little expensive) and the muffins were homemade, huge and really tasty. This coffee shop shuts for the afternoon trade which is a shame as I picture them doing well with the afternoon tea trade from the schools. Recommended, and we now see why it is popular - we will do breakfast next time.

We went for dinner not so long ago and arrived early (around 6pm to beat the crowds). We were incredibly disappointed with the service (we asked for water 3 times before it arrived) and felt that the waitress was very surly. The food was not cheap and we felt it was quite ordinary (unless that was the mood we were in after the poor service). I think there are better Mexican restaurants around the area, and we have never returned.

We have gotten take away from here a couple of times. The owners are really friendly and nice. The food serves are generous but sometimes the flavours are not as intense as other times. The steamed rice is extra as with most Thai restaurants but overall I would recommend.

We recently did a day trip to Redcliffe and drove on to Scarborough to buy lunch. The queue took forever - we waited 20mins in line to order and then a further 15 mins for our food. The food when we got it, was nice and fresh, but we suspected we may have got similar quality food up the road with faster service! Prices are a little higher than the norm.

This is a small fish and chips shop, run by a family. All food is cooked to order, so whilst you may to wait, it is always fresh. They offer a variety of fresh and cooked seafood (seasonal). I have bought both fresh and cooked seafood and been happy with it. Prices are about what you expect to pay.

This shop is in the Flockton Street shopping centre, just down from the Everton Park Hotel. It has fresh chicken, chicken rolls, chips, etc. Very similar food selection in style to Red Rooster but I find the food is tastier and often cheaper when you buy their midweek specials. Chips are cooked fresh while you wait and are usually very good.

This hairdressers is a small suburban shop at Everton Plaza. The prices are quite high for suburban haircuts in my opinion. The appointments usually run on time, and the hairdressers will ring to confirm appointments and flexible. My son (school aged) and I have both been customers in the past, but do not like it when they swap hairdressers around. The one we really liked has left, but the others seem okay.

This little coffee shop is nestled in a busy street, next to a popular bakery. It makes terrific coffee and has interesting cakes (they vary). It is also a deli and has terrific sandwiches and other lunch treats. You can also buy take away deli meat and cheese that are very special. Prices are about what you would expect for a good deli. Service is friendly and food is always tasty. I would recommend a visit.

Wow!!! This truly is one of the best restaurants on the Northside. The restaurant appears to be nothing out of the ordinary and looks very plain until they bring out the food. The food is cooked fresh and tastes it. The night we went, we all ordered something different and each of us was envious of each other's meals! They have a range to suit all people - fish, meat, curry, pasta, etc. The desserts are also a must - ensure you save some room for them as they are worth it. They also do take away from a smaller menu. The chef/owner is very friendly and accomodating. Highly recommended.

This Chinese Restaurant has been here for years. Every now and again we use this, but we are always shocked at the prices. The take out is slightly cheaper than the restaurant but it is still expensive for Chinese Food. Their speciality is a Deep Fried Tasty Beef which is lovely but quite sweet. Their special fried rice is always tasty but again, quite expensive. Overall, the food is nice, but you do pay a lot of money for it.
