Tasty cafe food, modern Australian fare. It specialises in simple fresh local ingredients, with a menu that changes daily. Open from breakfast through lunch, and available on special commission for night time events. Licensed, with a great wine selection.
The description on the Butterfield Tate site reads: Faded Grace – Antiques, Cushions & Collectables and it is just that - a treasure trove of vintage clothing, fabric, haberdashery, ephemera, all housed in a light, airy warehouse space in Waterloo. Hazel Butterfield is passionate about her collection, about beautiful things in general. She has a wonderful eye. It's not cheap, but her wares are unique. A stylist's dream.
Small, well stocked vintner with really helpful staff and a great range of wines at a broad range of prices. Tastings are good fun and well organised. Informative as well as social.
Really good Korean food - great value for money, a broad range on the menu and wonderfully tasty food.
Tasty, fresh, well priced Japanese and Korean food. A great atmosphere inside and the service is friendly and welcoming.
Fantastic produce and, if you can take the time to wait out the (always lengthy) queue upstairs, fantastic fresh Italian bistro food.
Staff always friendly and fun and the coffee cakes, bread and sandwiches are fresh, tasty and great value. A great place to stop as you walk along Danks St
Always crowded but worth the wait = the baked goods and the coffee are great - a really good find this far from the coffee belt around the city.
Great, good value Thai takeaway - fast service, great price and really tasty dishes. Pick up is easy, just near the corner of Gardeners Rd and Anzac Pde.
Approximate cost: $7-12
Well priced, tasty, popular tex mex. Must like fajitas, but the range on offer gives something for everyone
