Madame Grenouille (which translates as Madam Frog) has great coffee, excellent breakfast as well as a gorgeous display of very French pastries (some already packaged for take away).

Very flexible with urgent and after hours appointments. The staff I dealt with were highly competent and very personable. The free parking is a bonus.

Good quality coffee and their cupcakes are gorgeous! They do take-away packs too for a pretty reasonable price. Carousels has a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff and an interesting array of trinkets available for purchase.

Generous portions of authentic Thai food. Their take-away is good value for money. Pontip is a little expensive, but the food is of good quality with lots of variety, as well as having friendly staff. Try the red duck curry.

A good place for Saturday breakfast, though can be very busy. Their opening hours (only open for breakfast and lunch) means for the majority of the working masses it's difficult to get to. Groove Cafe has a comfortable, old diner feel to it with funky, bright decor. And very good coffee.

Beautiful, fresh flowers lovingly presented in bouquets and displays. The last bunch of flowers I purchased from here lasted much longer than most bouquets. Good service and quality flowers.

Good quality fish and chips with a lot of variety in their menu choices. Their food is always fresh and their serving sizes are generous. Also, good value for money.

Unfortunately The Alibi Room has lost a lot of its charm since its change of management. Still a good place for a drink with mates.

Loved it! Wonderful food with exceptionally well matched wines and attentive service by staff who seemed genuinely concerned about our dining experience. I enjoyed the layout of the restaurant (we were effectively sitting at the bar to eat). A small and romantic restaurant that'd be a good place to impress a date.
