Thirty years ago I injured myself whilst working as a Nurse. I couldnt pick my small children up to put in the cot or peg washing on the line. I was in so much pain , pyhsio gave some relief but I found the pain would come back a few days later. When the Doctor said that he was prescribing valiam I said don't bother writing the script I didnt want to get hooked on valiam. I had my first chiropractic visit shortly after this. I was hesistant as I had heard mixed reviews regarding chiropractic treatment but I has also witnessed first hand operations on spines whilst working at the hospital and knew I didn not want to have an operation. After my first adjustment I felt better I continued the treatment and went on to live a pain free life where I could live a normal life which included horse riding. Now in my senior years I have gone back to chiropractic to maintain my health and vitality. A small investment in ones health to be able to continue to do the activites that are taken for granted like walking without an aid , not having trouble with the knees and hips and so the list goes on.
