This review is for Kingsford Chinese Restaurant, Kingsford NSW

Quality of the food served is better than average as compared to most of the other nearby Chinese restaurants in the suburb. That said, service and price are just so-so - if they were better and more competitive than the other restaurants, it would be just so much more worth it...

Standard Chinese food at reasonable prices with just ok staff service. Best to order several dishes to share with friends - easy formula is 1 dish per guy and 1 dish for every 2 gals. Atmosphere is alright.

Sumptuous Chinese food but staff service is just plain ok. Best deal is to go with a bunch of friends, order several dishes and split up the cost - works out more economically. Simple formula for deciding how many dishes to order based on number of people: 1 dish per guy and 1 dish for every 2 gals...

Standard Thai fare but can be a little pricey. Service from staff is ok but not fantastic. If not mistaken, they have lunch deals where meals are slightly cheaper. Atmosphere isn't too bad, so overall, it is pretty ok.

Your standard fare of Thai food - just as expected; nothing more and nothing less. Price is reasonable for Thai. Service was much better - no grumbles from the staff when we keep asking for water and they were really cheerful in helping co-operate to switch off the lights and bring out the cake (which we stored in their fridge) so we could surprise a friend for her birthday... =)

Food was amazing and if you share out the dinner set meals between two people (it will still be filling enough), the price will be pretty reasonable. Staff was helpful like when we needed extra cutlery and when they saw more of our friends coming in, they set out another adjoining table for us. This place can get pretty busy so you may want to reach the place early so you can get seats. Room space, however, is limited so you may feel a little crampy, more so when the place is crowded - not the spot to go if you've got crowd phobia or if you want a bit of quiet time as it can get a little noisy at times.

This review is for Ratu Sari Indonesian Restaurant, Kingsford NSW

Food is close to authentic Indonesian but portions are not that large and it can be a bit pricey. Service is ok but can be further improved, especially when there are several other Indonesian restaurants in the suburb itself just within walking distance - hopefully the competition will drive this restaurant and others to provide better service and quality.

Great package for those looking for nice Chinese food to fit that tight budget. Portions are really huge and delicious plus the staff are friendly and they serve the meals really quick - one dish comes out right after another - you barely have to wait long. It's great if you can hang out with a bunch of friends and order one of the sets and split up the cost - works out economically. A trick to consider how many dishes to order based on the number of people is the following simple formula: 1 dish for each guy and 1 dish for every 2 gals - of course you can vary as needed! =)

This review is for Mezzaluna Ristorante Italiano, Potts Point NSW

verified email - 14 Jun 2008

Pretty pricey but to be expected for fine Italian dining. Food was superb and staff can be helpful, though at times, staff are a little less attentive. The view from the restaurant is amazing as you can see the city lights and waterfronts while dining, so I would say the atmosphere makes up for it. A good place to hit for a little one-on-one time with that loved one or for the best friend chat...

Since this is a pretty popular restaurant (which gets booked out very quickly), I had high expectations for my first visit. The meals lived up to my expectations and the price was fairly ok, just as you would expect. Services were pretty alright but may decline as the crowd gets larger and the staff gets busier. Overall, worth a visit for their famous pork ribs.
