Cecilia rocks! She is one of the most amazing massage therapists I have ever had the pleasure of being treated by. She is so knowledgable of the human body and so intuitive, and manages to hit the right spot every time with just the right amount of pressure. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Not a nice experience. You don't want a hairdresser who tries to persuade you to have a different cut to what you asked for, takes way too long, talks way too much, disagrees with everything you say, and doesn't respect your wishes for as few chemicals as possible. Unfortunately that is what I got.
I asked the hairdresser to take an inch off my hair, and then straighten it for fun. She took almost 1.5 hours to straighten my hair (which lasted for less than 3 hours) and then did a really quick cut, taking way too much length off.
She was very intense, telling me to not touch my hair, criticising my previous hairdresser and the haircut she had given me, and telling me what a good hairdresser she was herself. Despite telling her that I was trying to reduce my exposure to chemicals, she sprayed me with a mammoth amount of hairspray.
I came away exhausted, dehydrated, with a massive headache, and a haircut that was quite different from what I had asked for.
Very disappointing and not to be repeated.

The take-away we had from here was so disappointing. After a tough day at work, I was looking forward to a yummy take-away dinner, but both of the curries that we ordered (a beef and a chicken one) had a lot of gristle and fat in them. They clearly don't use quality meat in their dishes. They also told me the order would be ready for collection in 20 minutes, but it took a good 35 minutes. Waiting in the (very cold) restaurant for 15 minutes wasn't much fun. Come on guys, you can do better than that.

One of the most comprehensive haberdashery stores I have come across. Whatever you are looking for is probably available here. It's a large store and they stock a massive range of fabrics, including internationals such as Liberty of London. Not the cheapest on the market, but highly recommended.
Amazing! Delicious! There is a range of eat-in and take-away food available for almost al food intolerances/preferences. It's a tiny little store but well managed with an outdoor seating area in bustly Degraves Street. Highly recommended for a yummy, eclectic experience.

The staff at this store provide beautiful, frienly service. The stationery products are gorgeous, but ther is no pressure to buy if you are just browsing.
I was really impressed! Having decided to buy a new vacuum cleaner, I hadn't expected to receive outstanding service from a nation-wide franchise service. But these guys are excellent! This team of two brothers has relatively recently taken on the Port Melbourne franchise of Godfreys and the service is personal, professional, friendly and non-pressured. I felt very well looking after, and was happy to support a friendly local business.
Love this studio! The decor, rooms and facilities are a pleasure for the senses. I Like that they offer mostly 1 hour classes. You can choose from hot yoga (38oC) and power vinyasa yoga (28oC).
Approximate cost: $20
Really nice yoga studio. The Bikram room is enormous, but the power vinyasa room is smaller and more intimate. A nice selection of teachers and good space (layout, decor etc). Quite good prices for bulk purchased.
Approximate cost: $17
Such a lovely store! They have everything deli, luxury and organic. Too expensive to shop here every week, but it's a lovely place for picking up a treat or special ingredient.
