Wanted to have a quick drink & dessert on Saturday night after our meal at a Knox Ozone restaurant...were told we still needed to pay a $5 cover charge each before we could enter (was only 9.30pm) .. And although we are in our mid 30s, were asked for id. Given the previous reviews of it being a dingy place in need of a clean, can't see how they can charge entry if you are brave enough to want to eat there.. And why does a pub have to become a night club after 10pm..?! Guess we are too old to be going out. .were just hoping for a quick pub drink in an Irish pub .....

Very disappointing!! We chose Red Salmon from the Gold Section of the Entertainment book, thinking it would be a nice treat to celebrate our anniversary... And had seen some good reviews.. It was crowded & noisy, tables crammed together so it was difficult for staff to get to the tto serve. Our food came out quickly but was disappointing. We shared the crispy duck spring rolls, they were pretty tasteless and very little duck. I had reef & beef and my partner had the porterhouse. The seafood on top of the steak was overcooked and chewy, both steaks ordered to be medium were tough & chewy.. And the seafood sauce was bland.. Only the fries tasted ok, but these looked like frozen chips we could cook at home. Definitely not worth the $31 they charged. We decided not to have dessert given our poor entree and mains.. VERY DISAPPOINTING and thankfully we could get a discount with the entertainment card because it was definitely over-priced for what we got. Will not be returning.
